    I love the fact that throughout the tape you're talking about progressions and reading routes and defense. Caleb's tape was the same play over and over again. Caleb has the arm talent, but I lean Jayden because I feel he has more time reading defenses rather than scrambling.

      Calebs best plays they show when looking at his tape is mostly scrambles and making something happen..i agree with you…we dont even get chances to see if he can read a defense or not and JDs tape shows he can read a defense and goes through progressions….JD would be my pick if im the bears..trade back n pick him

    Jaden, talented kid. Nice passes and has the legs to move. The biggest thing as I watch this tape is. His offense line is great. The amount of times I seen him just cruising in the backfield with hardly any pressure that worries me. The NFL will not be like that. We will all see. 🤷

    • @DezzRoPapi
      @DezzRoPapi 8 місяців тому +1

      @@Cmacke103 you have to take in to account when/why those sacks happened. A LOT came on downs where he had to wait for the play to develop because of the nature of LSU's offense. Which is a reason why Caleb had a high sack rate as well, while QBs like JJ and Penix didn't. They weren't asked to create as much.

    • @Cmacke103
      @Cmacke103 8 місяців тому

      Naw bro it’s called when you see it’s nothing throw the ball away keep your team out of 3rd and long situations if you giving him that excuse you should give it to Sam like I said go watch the tape on Penix he rolls out buys time for his wideouts if nothing is there he gets it out of bounds. You obviously not watching and only watching highlights of the player this man done been sacked 7 times in games you don’t hold the ball that long and won’t be able to do it in the NFL that deep ball which basically all he threw is not going to be there and he basically a one read qb big mistake to draft him at 2 for one fluke season because he won a heisman racking up stats in meaningless games !

    • @DezzRoPapi
      @DezzRoPapi 8 місяців тому

      @@Cmacke103 YOU come across like someone who only watches highlights. Go look at Kurt Warner's breakdown of Jayden and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've watched every LSU game over the past 10 years, that OL is bad. He held the ball too long sure, but that's what the offense dictates. LSU converted their 3rd downs at like a 54% rate, I think only Georgia was better so those "3rd and longs" didn't matter anyway.

    His throwing mechanics are a massive problem. Let the tape roll and watch him, just him. You will start to see his arm is very slow to come around and seems like a mere consequence of the sudden body twisting motion. He does not “drive” the ball. There is no arm extension or whip action with the snapping of the wrist. He’s leaving tons of power on the table. Is it fixable?

    • @terencebarnes7393

    You should pitch a show to NFL Network. Mariucci and Gruden both got to sit down and go through the film with prospects, and ask all of those questions you have. I think you would be even more popular. Maybe even expand it to include WRs too. I'm sure you could get other greats to come on to help out with the on-field work as well.

    I like the breakdown. Only thing is you have to understand that he’s been creating plays his whole life because of his athleticism. So what you’re thinking as a pocket passer is not how he plays the game. Never wanna take away his ability to be a threat to run. He can go for 75 in one play. Mr. Warner could never do what Jayden is capable of as a QB. Jayden will get better throwing accurately. He’s just too much of a threat to pass at 2. Way better than Maye. Especially mechanically
