Feed the coffee berries to a pig. Collect it's poo and clean off the beans. Sell it as gourmet coffee. Just need good marketing. Worked for kopi luwak coffee. Maybe you can find a civet. Sells for 51,000 pesos per kilo.
Good morning, Rose and Randy. To process coffee reap the ripe berries then put in the sun.to dry, then it is roasted , afterwards ground coffee berries in a Marta until it turns to powder. Store in a bottle for use.
I spent a few years in the country side of Jamaica 🇯🇲 with my grandparents Rose and they were small coffee farmers, that's how they processed coffee. We also put coconut milk in it.Oh! nice coffee.
Remember this coffee is very strong. You may use 2 teaspoons to 3 cups of boiled water.Strained then sweeten with sugar and you may add cream to taste.
Randy, did you see my comment with the link to hand crank meat grinders? I would stay away from soft metal aluminum grinders. I have the old hand crank meat grinder from when our family butchered as I grew up. Still works, at over 60 years old. Ours had coarse and fine cutting heads. 👍
Howdy Rose and Randy, good work sir, I saw another youtube video called best burgers in the Philippines, he had a cheap grinder too, but he bought a Taisun with a 1 1/2 Hp moter and he said it grinds everything... about the lean hamburger meat, he added some pork belly fat to make it juicer and more tasty... if you want to watch his video, just search best hamburger in the Philippines... love you two, and can't wait to see the little guy after birth... Have you chosen a name yet? hahaha or will Rose name him?
Great job on repairing the meat grinder. People probably don't realize how valuable of a commodity your skills bring to the table. Again, you and Rose take care and we are all praying for you guys and your future son.
@@AmericaManFilipinoWifeYes, or whatever.... And something to go with her coffee. It's the only way, I could get it, there.👍❤️you know, that. If this is Rose. 👀🤣
I would love to buy ground meat here, but I’ve seen sanitation of the grinder is nonexistent. I’m afraid it would kill me or worse make me sick the rest of my life.
Hamburger, ham, bacon, jerky, and smoked meats are great--if they turn a profit. It seems like Rose turned a nice profit in 10 years after her retirement in pigs. Pork, which may be temporally fluctuating in price, for 10 years has produced a nice healthy profit, naturally. A half dozen fridges/freezers are a fair price, if and only if the products are making a profit. If all of these products are producing profits, and if lots of expensive woodworking equipment is being heavily used to make profitable products, good deal. Otherwise, you may as well take stacks of Pesos and burn them for heat to keep warm...There will be a boy soon--who could be next president of the PH. I love fairy tales, but this child in utero might be a farmer or the leader of a soon to be great nation.
So if it's $100 for a bigger one, which he said, could be plastic inside too. He's got three more, to go through, before paying, for the big one. I wonder if he cut the pieces of meat in half one more time, would it not be, so hard, on those gears, inside. And he might not have to push on it so hard
Mix in ground up pork roast with your ground beef. It’ll be the best ground beef you ever eaten. I do that with venison. I mix 50% ground pork 50% ground venison. Mix in your spices and make breakfast sausage. Looking awesome Randy.
Randy, you are always belittling things in the Philippines. I think that is unfair. You are living in a foreign country and should show some respect. If you buy cheap equipment, whether in the Philippines or USA, don't expect it to do too much. The equipment that broke down, which you said cost around $20.00, would cost much more in the US and still manufactured in China. America does not make anything anymore. If you buy a more expensive one, even if Chinese, it will give you better service.
Come on honey pie, you can’t get anything done with that cheap piece of crap. Listen to your wife and get a good commercial grade grinder. You do way too much for a cheap grinder.

Sounds like a shitty job🤣

Surprisingly, we fry our hamburgers in pork lard and they are oh so juicy. Yes if you are going to grill them adding pork fat would be a good idea.
Good job! If it really was only 20 bucks, it's paid for itself. You really could use a more industrial one though.
Yes it was like 22 bucks including shipping. It's hard to know if your really getting a better one just because they charge more for it.

Always good to keep the other one for just in case stuff like this happens.
That's the nice thing about having identical machines, spare parts.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
O have faith in you randy you can do it.
Thanks I was successful and finished up the job.
Looks good . And if it's lean that's good ad well.a little bit of fat is ok.
Thanks hamburgers are tastier with more fat however.
@AmericaManFilipinoWife true
Just wondering how much coffee you can harvest? I think you are right randy; you might be putting too much stress on the gears in your grinder.
Yes I cut the pieces smaller, beef is tougher than pork.
I would love to buy ground meat here, but I’ve seen sanitation of the grinder is nonexistent. I’m afraid it would kill me or worse make me sick the rest of my life.
Our grinder is very sanitised. Everything is washed and soaked in bleach water and wiped down with bleach water. I'm kind of a stickler about that.

Yes that's my thinking and I did cut the meat into smaller pieces.

I got here 15 minutes late, trying to figure out what Randy is doing.
Trying to fix the meat grinder one of the gears striped off.
What size is Randy's work shop. I need one as big.
20 x 24 if I remember right.
Thanks for the info.
How long does your freezers stay frozen when you have no power?
I think my comment may have gone to the withheld for review section because I included a link.
I'll check it out.
Just Saying ...
