To be fair, often when someone says to turn something to the right, they mean the side furthest from you goes right, which is the opposite of how Silas works. Though I think the Silas options do show an arrow with a curve upwards so it shouldn't be that hard. And you only need to see it once to remember that it moves your board to that side.
@@Minihood31770 As you can see on cards with "this" and "that" way, the horse is showing the direction, so it's not that hard. But imo it works like clock, so it would be easier to say "clockwise" (which is ofc left) and "counterclockwise" (which is right). But that's just my personal opinion :D

I play too much Mario Party. This stuff makes too much sense to me. I just see a literal carousel in my mind. For once, Mario Party actually helped me in life.
The confusion comes from using "this way' and 'that way' instead of clockwise and counterclockwise. Someone seeing it for the first time could think that 'this way' means either their opponent's minions move to the left (meaning their own move right) or their own minions move to the left (meaning their opponent's move right). It just depends on perspective. Intuitively most people will probably assume their own minions, but it certainly isn't clear, and I'm not surprised people don't get it the first time.
its because of how both players see the board, right is right for both players so clockwise for one of them would be anti-clockwise for the other, meanwhile "this way" and "that way" is based on where silas is weather you pick the left card or the right card is how you will move silas
The images literally display what direction it will rotate in, but (not being sarcastic here) I have no idea why blizzard expected someone to pay attention to the art. Nobody pays attention to things
Normally, rotations are clockwise, if you play sylas there is no way to know what the direction is going to be unless you played it before, it is not conffiusing, it is just impossible to know what he is going to do unless you played it before.
