Just a few days ago I was wondering... Where is Mr Akkersdijk?? I figured either deaded from trying a triple megaloop, or swanning around in the Caribbean, in the most gorgeous kite spots imaginable. I'm glad it was the latter. Amazing footage and great edit. The foil footage from atop the mast of the boat is the best advertisement for the NEXUS possible. Kite was flying beautifully and allowing you to foil incredible lines. Thanks bro.
Yes, I've been hiding away a little bit lately. But during that time I've been able to get some great content. Totally agree about the footage in the mast, totally worth the effort of pulling my girlfriend all the way up there even thought she's afraid of heights 🤣 she handled it like a champ!
I'm glad you like the mast footage, definitely the most scared I've been filming kitesurfing. Luckily, it was possible to stabilize a bit my unsteady hand 🙈
Hey Robertas, Mostly used the CORE Nexus3 12m, 9m and 7m in this video on the allround settings. Also flew a 15m XR6 for a short moment, the Carved imperator is a 139 Happy you liked the video!
Did a Union Island cruise right before the pandemic. Loved it. Maybe it's time to go back this winter... Would LOVE to go on the Egypt cruise for training with Steven in October but flights from U.S. is so grueling. Difficult at my age. (Did Youri Zoon school in D.R. last month. Got SO much out of that Pro training.)
Nice! So you know the kite conditions there quite well I guess. St lucia is a slightly better flight from the US I think, depending where you live. Youri is a super good coach, can imagine you learned a lot from him, that's awesome!
