I wish I could have watched this in my 30s. And I can could tell Julie is originally from Alberta--she has an down-to-earth practicality that makes her videos a go-to for credible information. Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks again for this video. For my first book, I used a marketing company. Because of these videos, I have the courage to write my next book. And self-publish.
While money may not be my number one priority with my books I hope to someday publish, a $25K payment in one day would definitely be sweet! I do hope that my books provide me income; but, more importantly, I want my readers to feel inspired and encourage them on their journeys of self-growth and healing.
Sometimes words are hard! I tried to say it along with you and couldn't get it either.😛

Thanks for the Tuesday shoutout, Julie! It is true, that it takes some of us longer than others to write our 2nd book, but I am working on it! I have been fairly successful with my 1st book, and it is slightly profitable but the first 6 months took some education time to see what works and not, and how costly some promotions and ads are in reality. I have built a presence on social, as an advisor to companies and CEOs, and doing webinars, and speaking. But it takes time and energy. Thanks for the excellent video!

I would love to be able to make a good living from selling my books, but right that feels a lot like the impossible dream. I definitely needed this video.

Great video. Each of my eight books is filled with my illustrations and I have experimented with putting my art on Payhip so people can buy their own copy of one of my images. I may switch to a different platform, though. Still searching through my options. But that is another way I can earn money from my books.

I've decided to stick with Payhip for digital download prints and also started using Society 6 so I can sell my art from my books on home decor, apparel, wall art, and more. I've used other sites in the past but Society 6 has a unique product catalog and comes highly recommended. These goodies would be great for giveaways I could do on my Facebook page, too.

If you've already released a book on KDP some time ago, but didn't do much marketing at the time and sales haven't taken off, is it too late to start marketing it?

You'll do better writing more books that deliver extremely high value than to waste a single second doing anything else, especially trying to grow and manage a community of strangers.

Your brand new author I am just expect to be making $100 to 1000 bucks in passive income cuz you're brand new and the Amazon algorithm has to figure out where to place your book I'm not sure if Walmart will allow you to self publish on their website but I do know if you're writing a book it needs to be in four formats hard book cover soft cover ebook and audiobook
What is non fiction book ?
