Not the first time he had mind reader and a ohko move, just recently he had the combo and didn’t bother using it and spammed the ohko move instead

I really loved this idea, even though some categories on the Wheel were a bit confusing. If you do it again, I would suggest the following changes to the Wheel's categories, both to include more types of animals and to clarify some of the options:
Rodents => Rodents/Rabbits
Fish => Fish/Whales
Crustaceans => Crustaceans/Jellyfish
Insects => Insects/Centipedes/Arachnids (i.e. Spiders and Scorpions)
Hooved Animals => Hooved Animals/Elephants (the former also includes Sheep, Pigs, Rhynos and Hippos btw)
Dragons => Dragons/Dinosaurs
Dogs/Cats => Dogs/Cats/Bears (aka Carnivorans)
Birds => Birds & Bats
He felt the need to justify Decidueye being a bird but also called Aerodactyl a bird 😂🤦♂️

Most people wouldnt guess whatt Gyrados is based off of(the whole carp climbing a waterfall and becoming a dragon story), and as much as i love these two, they arent scholars, so understandable to not lump Gyrados in with Dragons(i legit thought Water/Sea Snake when OG Red and Blue came out).
Turtonator is also heavily a turtle, with minor dragon elements added in, so another one thats an easy and logical explanation for not including
I was actually referring to him picking up salamance instead of the other two he encountered. I didnt know the story behind gyarados but I've always seen him as a dragon. But that's just me

Game Freak seems to assume all creatures in the Arthropod Phylum are Bug Types. Even though we usually mean insect when we say bug, we also include non-insects in this category like Spiders, Isopods (Roly Polys, etc.), scorpions, and centipedes/millipedes are often referred to as Bugs despite not being insects. Crabs are also part of the Arthropod Phylum and are related to insects/bugs. Since gamefreak included spiders, isopods, and millipedes as bug types it makes sense to also include crabs. It does create a weird inconsistency since not all crab/lobster pokemon are bug types though.

I hate that fungi and plant are lumped together. Fungi as it's own type would be great. The diversity of fungus is insane.

They're closely related, but rabbits arent rodents (group Rodentia), they are from group Lagomorpha

I hate these concepts because quick is SO critical on what he allows or refuses. Chillin really said “that’s a turtle, not a dragon” after he literally grabbed a dragon thats just literally a lizard on its hind legs.
All dragons are just reptiles/amphibians.
Technically he’s not wrong on that one just based on animals. Turtonator is literally just a turtle, Salamance is clearly a dragon. I guess dragons not being a real animal doesn’t help though, they probably could’ve just done reptiles and put the dragons in that category
@@joeysanchez5094 the point is, he excepted a lizard as a dragon but not a turtle that breathes fire. I promise if turtonator had 620 BST, he’d have taken it. That’s the problem.
@@Ryan-us4jfTurtonator is strongly/heavily in the Turtle category for animals it was designed off of, with very small inclusions of Dragon like elements since its a Dragon type.
Haxorus(since im assuming thats the one youre complaining about, not Salamence) could be argued to fit in the description of a Wyrm(basically a Dragon without wings) or closer to a Dinosaur, which for those unaware, Dinosaur bones are the reason for a good chunk of myths about Dragons. So there's a logical and easily defendable train of thought to allow Haxorus to fall under the Dragon category and to disallow Turtonator

Search “dragon that looks like turtle” in Google. You’ll find what turtonator was presumably based off of. It’s a DRAGON type, that stands on its hind legs, and looks like a dinosaur with a shell. The ONLY reason he didn’t accept it is because it’s trash.

Love the challenge! You can definitely add more to the wheel to get more Mon in there. With crustaceans you can add cepholopods (octopus, squid, snails, clams etc). And Lagomorphs with rodents so Quick GG could have gotten that Cinderace!
I agree that it's fine to add lagomorphs to rodents, but mollusca to crustacea? That's a bit too polyphyletic for my tastes :p
Its not ok that arthropod is split to where arachnid and myriapod are insects but not crustaceans. Either they're all mislabeled as bugs or else.

As to answer Chillins question: I am a cat person (I mean, i have 2 myself and grew up with cats all my live). Funny thing is though, that in Pokemon, i prefer the Dogs over the Cats, since the Dogs actually have type variety, while with the cats, the majority of them are either Normal or Dark types (Not counting the Eeveelutions).

Some time amount to go around and catch the worst possible teams you can, and the person who loses is the winner. I think itd be neat to see the strats if the goal is to lose. Plus we'd get to root for babies we never get to see

488 total stats with 110 attack and 93 speed. Picked this dude up in the first 5 mins of B/W and kept him till the end. Never disappointed. This dude and Stoutland are too strong for how soon you see them in game.

I'd recommend the Gym Leader Challenge. You both secretly pick a non-dragon typing and catch a team of that type that you choose. It's fun because you have to try and predict what the other person will choose, as well as knowing your weaknesses. I'd say you can pick the pokemon from the overworld, and get 3 skips.
Good categories. At most I'd replace Dragons with Dinosaur/prehistoric. With all the fossils and the Ancient Power evo's and a few retrosaurs (Like Tyranitar, the old "Godzilla pose" dinosaurs with their tails dragging along the ground) it seems like an interesting category. And distinct enough from regular Reptiles/Amphibians. And maaaaybe include other large herbivores in the hoofed animals? The elephants, rhinos and hippos and such?
