Thank you so much. I've tried to make a panto dames huge wig. It was too wobbly and top heavy. The hard hat is a wonderful idea. Plus all the extra tips. I salute you 👏

For a little bigger size of ‘pipe insulation’, pool noodles can be got at the Dollar Store.
And serrated steak knives work well to sculpt stooopid foam, too.
