Hi Nat! Wowzers what a fabulous kiln opening! Love the leaf bowl❤ and the beachy plate❤ and the Peacock bowl OMG I love that!!❤ the oil bottles are stunning!!! And the cat mug too❤❤ and You are on 🔥 at the minute😂❤❤❤
Oh your beach plate looks amazing! Fantastic success! Nice peacock bowl too! Before you removed from the kiln I thought you meant peacock Glaze effect lol. Oil bottle has nice texture with the glaze breaking on it too ❤ Good luck with the rest of the markets!
Congrats on the leaf platter! On the peacock, it would be beautiful with pearl Lustre over it. It's pretty like it is, but pearl and peacocks kind of go together ❤
Loook at you!! You are just pumping these videos out!! The ocean plate is amaaazing!!!! I wish my oatmeal fired yellow!! At a hot cone 6 it just turns off white. Love the peacock bowl. I think using mother of pearl on it would look pretty as others have said. The furniture in the kiln does get hotter than the pots and also is the last thing to cool. They retain the heat a lot so I can imagine it making a difference with the thermal couple. I love the soft red bottle. I just bought it, finally. What are the ink something that you said Paula McCoy told you about? That sounds interesting. Oh no I’m so sorry you dropped your wine glass! Darn it.
The beach plate is gorgeous. Love the Greenleaf platter is beautiful. Your peacock plate may look good if you put a luster mop on it. It will make the feather iridescent.
Nice pieces. The painted flowers with the fat (fox cat) animal is gorgeous, the flowers are nicely executed. Does Paula have a tutorial explaining the transferring method that you used. Peacock piece is magnificent, you put a lot of work into that one. Happy potting
Power Turquoise likely contains copper oxide for the green, but might also have ilmenite, which usually produces a blue-green. Most commercial glaze recipes are not publicly available though... trade secrets and whatnot 🩵
