Thank you for the support. There is a screen but no filter. The screen is just there to prevent the buzzards or birds from getting chewed up in the meat grinder.
You could benefit from the use of an idle bypass setup like the V10 M5's did. A separate air system, called idle air control valves, can feed in air below the plates for idle. Then above a certain RPM / load percentage you can open the throttle plates as well, giving you a great combination of drivability and power.
I am curious about the Charger: what is that metallic "buzzing" noise we heard during the long traffic drive of the F&F replicas video and here at the 15:07 mark, pulling up to the shop entrance?
The metallic "buzzing" you hear is...SURPRISE! Metal buzzing. The entire interior is aluminum and the noise you hear is the vibration of the metal inside the cabin.
I love you guys. Another great video. I'm sure you may have missed my last comment or chose to ignore it 😂😅Please can you remove the "Just Driven" stickers off the cars front windscreens? I know its branding but I'm confident your audience is intelligent enough to know you guys built these perfections so why devalue your efforts with stickers from Max Power era? Just my opinion of course so do with that as you will. Love always. Al 🇬🇧
If your comment was to remove the Just Driven banners from the cars…yah, we ignored it. We don’t believe the vehicles are devalued because of them because they aren’t for sale. They are promotional tools and hopefully bringing new eyeballs to our channel and our shop. As for the 900 horses of Detroit muscle…we have more than the boasted 900 horses. So we think we have plenty to brag about.
No, sorry. We didn't get them from any stores. The only store we did get a large sum of parts from is for the Charger. The engine build was done originally from Hawaii Racing.
you's are just Teasing me now, lmao! would love to see a Price breakdown if you guys dont mind, id like to know how much im going to be paying you guys to make me one😂
@@JustDrivenIf you do run it at the drag strip, Dont" leave on green. Leave on the last yellow on the Christmas tree. It makes up for the reaction time lost, and makes you quicker out of the hole. But you have to judge it right or you'll red light and lose the race.
There is no air filter on this setup. There is a screen sandwiched in-between the plates. That screen is just to prevent wildlife from being chewed up by the blower.
Yall dunb , dont close it off , get a MSD billet distributor and box re time it or better yet reach out to lacy blair and her gang they have tons of blower motors and proper tuning techs that would know how to tune the monster you have
Acabamos de levar o carro de volta à loja no dia em que filmamos o último segmento. Ainda precisamos fazer um test drive e aproveitar o carro agora. Temos tantas construções em andamento que precisamos fazer atualizações para o máximo delas que pudermos.
First off boys take all that holley junk and throw it into the dumpster. The fact you want this car to run the a Toyota corolla makes me laugh. Its a elephant motor. Its only making just over 700hp. Really. My 426 stock bore was making 2500hp before it exploded a rod. I am detuning it this go around to 800hp for streetablity reasons. This is a amazing car so dont get me wrong here but elephants need to run free. Who needs air conditioning anyway it just makes more heat and more problems. Blower motors run hot as hell anyway. I am glad you got it tuned better for warm up. Blower surge is a pain but i live with it. When i hit that throttle its all party. I am hoping my new motor is more street friendly but i wont hold my breath.😂 glad you learned a lot on this car. When you built the first motor i was the guy yelling at my phone going where is the pop off valve lol. I wrote about it before the first dyno guy made the comment. Like i said you learned a lot the hard way. Ya know one phone call to big daddy don could have saved you lots of grief😂. But none the less you muttled through and won. Oh letting a movie set use it are you nuts lol. Thats like letting a golf pro mow the lawn no clue on how to run it😂
We have already ditched the AC to keep the temps in the engine bay down. We were never planning for this car to make gobs of power. We just wanted to be able to drive it. We have it tuned just right and love how it drives now. We don't plan on changing anything at this time. This thing is a fickle beast and feel the more we poke at it the more we have to spend time on it. With so many builds needing attention we just can't spare the time.
I could be wrong but looking at the dyno chart which was kinda confusing.. It said it made 716 horsepower at 3700 rpm. And 960 pounds of torque at a low rpm. Considering the max rpm range on that Hemi is probably 6500 rpm I guarantee it's probably making at least 800-900 horsepower by the time it hits 6500 rpm. And that's at low boost, Imagine turning it up 3 pounds.. It could easily hit 1000 horsepower and no telling the torque. There's a reason NHRA uses Hemi's. They make a ton of power. After the distributor was changed and everything was sorted out we never really knew what it actually made on the dyno. I'm curious now what it actually makes now that everything is fixed. I want to see what it makes st 6500 rpm.
If you watched the entire video the tuner made it work out properly. This is still a street car so dropping the timing too low for street use and having too many open throttle plates just isn’t feasible. The car would likey want to idle around 1500+rpm
@deweydoganowski58 what are you even talking about? Saying someone sucks without knowing them or the entire situation is ignorance. Sell that someplace else.
Turning a beast like that is work!!
Awesome content as always!
Thanks!
We all know this is not a drag car. It's a show car. And you guys did the right thing. Fricken awesome dudes!! I hope to see this in person someday!
Thank you so much.
congratulations for everything you do, looking at you reminds me of many beautiful things in my life. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much.
So much work ypur team and others have and co ti ue to put into these cars, love the content and being able to live vicariously through yall
Thank you so much for the support!
Nice video back to the dyno again makes the charger more better 👍
Always have to strive for the "mo betta" goal.
It's really nice to hear from this charger again! BTW is there any filter under or inside the scoop?

We fixed finally.
Bet you are more than relieved that it is starting and idling nicely now.
It's amazing to feel this running and idling more smoothly.
I really hope this can feature in Fast 11 along with the Supra, that would be the ultimate tribute to the series and Paul Walker.
We agree completely.
that whine sounds crazy
It sounds so much more amazing in person.
This car is absolutely disgusting and nasty (in the most flattering and positive way)
You are bad and awful. As in: Awfully badass.
The Fast & Furious Charger evolution is here
We are always striving for more and more better.
So much torque at idle, the belt slips coming off the line.
All the slips.
So what do you think Dom and his dad did to make the car run without closing off 2 throttle plates?
Supposed to modulate fuel gets manually to achieve idle. Ozzy burnout cars with big blowers do it routinely
@@arcadiagreen150 so it is possible. That chassie needs to twist coming off the line 🤣🥰💝
В те времена запчасти были крепче.Да и машина делалась под Драг Рейсинг, а не для езды в магазин.
Putting a fake blower on it
@zcookie9272 is right.
What a beautiful car
Thank you so much!
Vin diesel will be proud
He did seem to like our Charger the last time he saw it!

Also..........still no "900 horses of detroit muscle 💪🏼 " 😅 Cmon has to reach that magical number ✨️👌🏼🤞🏼
@@mr_omega_007back in the day they would only engine dyno their motors so this is well over 900hp of Detroit muscle to the crank.

Main 2 Questions.
Will it do a wheelie?
Will it beat Whistlin Diesels General Lee?
If we softened the rear suspension and we would love to have the opportunity to try!
What is the 1/4 mile time for this and the Supra? Are they just show cars?
We haven't tested them at the track yet.

Question is this car going to be in fast and furious 11
That's a great question. Now just share this video all around the internet and ask the same question please. hahaha...

I wonder if the Sylvia Mona Lisa, from Tokyo drift deserves to live?
We love that idea.
if a guy just pulled a 383 or 440 would anyone wanna buy it!!? 350000 miles on it
