South Dakota Sprint Car young gun Cole Garner

17 year old second generation South Dakota Sprint Car racer Cole Garner has a remarkably balanced view on his racing opportunities and aspirations.
It would be easy for him to just 'expect' that he should get a ride.
I mean there are plenty of bits and pieces laying around where you could bolt a car together right?
The son of legendary wheel-man Clint Garner this passionate sometime golfer understands how fortunate he is to have the people around him and the legacy his famous family are providing.
I caught up with Cole today at the team race-shop and in between hearing his perspective I marvelled at the quantity of "Garner Blue" chrome moly and memories that filled this building in various forms.
This is a neat young man and I really enjoyed the way he handled our chat today.
