I'd also put Pioneers low on my ranking but I did really enjoy 'The Beautiful Game', it felt like it would fit into 9's tv run nicely. My top 3 are Star-Crossed, Shades of Fear and Respond to All Calls, though 'Monsters in Metropolis' is one of my favourite stories from the range, despite the others in that set dragging it down. I felt like quite a lot of sets had a pattern of sandwiching the not quite as good stories in between excellent ones.

Yes I agree monsters in metropolis is a great story, just in my opinion let down by the other two in that set, and yeah maybe I should give The beautiful game a re listen.

I agree shades of fear was definitely my favourite boxset from the range, all strong stories

Funny enough I'd say shades of fear is probably one of my least favorite of the range. I won't lie and say pioneers is one of my favorites, I love hearing the ninth doctor explaining anything, especially history as he sees it happen.

Some great stories mixed with not so great ones sums up this range, I’d say yeah apart from shades of fear and maybe star crossed there aren’t any other box sets that are consistently great throughout. Just sets with mid stories but one maybe 2 amazing ones

I’ve got a couple of these box sets and they’re pretty good but ironically they’re the ones you’ve got higher up on the list, travel in hope and star crossed, I enjoyed them, I also enjoyed this vid and look forward to the next one

I’d say my top three would be Lost Warriors, Back to Earth and Pioneers.

Ahh this range is a mixed bag, some absolute gems and then some pretty terrible ones, but it was great to have consistent releases with the Ninth Doctor after all this time
