I think they should join the two packs. Nina should join the more Wild and impulsive one, since she immediately started wondering in sewers and got attacked. Meanwhile her brother was FISHING.

Well Poor Hazel had to give up her amazing, successful career has a home decorator and got turned into a farmhand/mum within no time at all :’( all her dreams, gone!!
I like the idea that Angus and Nina decided to go backpacking out in the wilderness but got lost and after weeks of wandering in the wilderness they stumbled on this little town and its strange inhabitants. That's why they have nothing and their clothes are all torn and dirty and why Angus now has long hair and a beard and Nina's hair has changed from the dye she had before.
“They don’t have a lot to their name” meanwhile their uncle has a golden bathroom, an entire basement full of stolen paintings and artwork, a vault with thousands of dollars in cash in it, and a huge mansion/farm 😂 Chaz really humbled them lol

Angus missing his birthday made me realize that they need an option where your sims can just wish others 'Happy Birthday' and that should count.
THIS. It's ridiculous we don't have it yet and it's such a simple thing to include, especially considering all of the conversational options My Wedding Stories gives when you're engaged.
This! Sometimes I just want to focus on other things and having to spend time making a cake and them aging up right before I'm able to finish is so annoying 😅 Would also love to be able to add wedding toppers or birthday candles to any kind of cake (or pie) for more options
@@casacan77 Exactly. Plus, not everyone gets a cake for their birthday nor do they go out the way to bake one. Sure people with MWS can buy a cake from the cake shop (a wedding cake that is), but sims should be able to order a normal birthday cake in base game and at the very least be able to "wish happy birthday" so they're not getting a negative moodlet.

Most teenage boys have full beards by year 9-10 of school. Its weird hahaha
Nina being Wildfang material but hitting off with Jacob Volkov is giving a very star-crossed lovers vibe.
Nina and Angus should definitely join different packs, then rise the ranks of them both and take over. Seems like something right up there in the Bigwallet legacy.
Sims team asked James to make lots and he really went "what do I need to make my rags to riches easier?" And put everything on one lot for himself
I think my favorite thing so far is how this world is almost an open world! There are so many extra spaces around the world that aren’t lots, and you can walk (or bike) between them, no loading screens, it’s heavenly and really makes me wish all the worlds were more like that… we need more community areas that are open…
Angus should get close to the peaceful pack and eventually ask to become a werewolf from his mentor/future self, Kristopher, whereas Nina should join the more hostile pack because she was attacked and forced to become a werewolf, so she’s angsty about it.
I love how Angus had to sleep on a bench in the middle of nowhere even though there's another couch next to Nina
I like the idea of Nina/Jakob together and her being the alpha of the wildfangs, star crossed lovers!
There was such a missed opportunity to call this the Teen Wolf series, its already following their track record for school attendance XD
The reason they didn't take any of the family money is that once they discovered that the vault of "family heir looms" are all stolen by their mother, with the support of their father, it made them want to leave in disgust. They now don't trust any of their parents money, they will never believe it was obtained honestly, so they don't want anything to do with it. They left in the evening and took a bus with their remaining money to a new town for a new beginning. Their family don't hold any ill wishes towards them, and just hope that one day they can reconnect.
It was the gold toliet, c'mon.
@@jojoscats It's definitely what blew Hazel's cover. All the other toilets are full, Nina is desperate and asks her mum what to do, and she says to use the toilet downstairs. Nina says Angus is in there, but Hazel clarifies that no, she means downstairs downstairs, and takes Nina to the newly finished golden bathroom. Nina is surprised, but uses the bathroom nonetheless. She then takes a chance to snoop behind the barriers to get a closer look at the family heirlooms. She's only previously looked at the Bigwallet pipe organ (actually Column's). It's then that she sees another family's name inscribed, which is confusing, because her parents have always reiterated that the Bigwallet family has a very long legacy. Nina then explores the other artifacts, and to her horror, finds more names that aren't her family's. The stolen museum artefacts are the last straw. She remembers hearing in the news that a museum was robbed of several sculptures. She runs to tell Angus, and together, they confront their parents. Their parents argue that it was all to give them a good life, but Angus points out that if that was true, the artefacts would've been sold, not kept in a vault. This is where Hazel trips up and blurts out "Well I should get to keep them, they were hard to smuggle!" This is the last straw for Nina and Angus. Everything they thought they knew about their parents was a lie. They make a plan together to run away after school the following day.

Rags to riches seems to be the most popular Sims play through. I am surprised EA didn't add the option to start homeless. It seems silly to start owning a blank lot, you still own something!
I agree, I alwaysakwy sims "buy" the lot as well, they can't place any build/BUY on the lot until they do, also they can't pay the bills one the lot until they own it, so even though I allow them to have item that can be placed into your inventory the repo man can come and take then away until the lot is yours
I justify it as squatting on unclaimed land. Sometimes I make my gen 2 save up money to "buy" a permit for the house they already have. But that's pure roleplaying.

I wish there was a way the hissing wouldn't affect family relationships. Like I get it that strangers think it's weird but it really strains that parent child relationship WAY more than necessary, imo. Lol.

Fun fact: Kristopher's family name "Volkov" comes from the word for "wolf" in some Slavic languages (mine included).
In Russian I believe it's "волк/volk" while in mine it has another letter instead of the "o" so in Bulgarian it's "вълк/vulk". Just a quick fyi!
russian alphabet also has ъ but it means a different sound: bulgarian "ъ" sounds more like russian "o" than "ъ". slavic languages share a lot of words that sound similar but are spelled differently. like "волк" in russian, "вълк" in bulgarian or "вовк" in ukranian. i think it's very fascinating!
Yep, Volkov is a very common last name in Russia. I was surprised when I saw Kristopher's full name on stream 😅

It makes sense that the siblings are walking all sad and defeated - who knows how many days they traversed the forests to reach Moonwood Mill for their clothes to look like that. In this world, I think it makes sense to use the public utilities. Communal living and so forth.

I feel like Chaz kind of encouraged the kids to move out and do what he did while their parents are so nervous about it. Trenton was probably like “Chaz are you sure this is a good idea? They’re just teenagers.” And Chaz was like “yeah! They’ll be perfectly fine! I was.”
I would be so fun to see you transform that debug building into an actual renovated building (that basically looks exactly like the debug one) over the course of the series

Great first episode James. At some point in this let's play you should have a werewolf wohoo or try for a baby with either a werewolf, vampire, or spellcaster.
I really hope this game is worth getting. I normally don't get packs when they first release, but I'm very interested in this one. That's why I'm watching, so I can see if it's working.

Update, I bought it and have been playing for a while. So far I like it, my Sim is already dating Rory while trying to join the Moonlight Collective while I'm having her twin brother join the Wildfangs.
YES! I'm so excited. This is the earliest I've been for a lets play ever! Watching it an hour after it drops. AND I'm actually all caught up on the characters. I'm shocked. I'm so happy and ready to see Angus and Nina's werewolf adventures begin especially because James had such a huge impact in making the lots in this pack and he genuinely loves the pack and its items so much I know this is going to be a great lets play! :)
Oooh, I'm so excited for this LP :D The Cottage Living one was the first I watched fully! And since I'm not going to buy Werewolves until my birthday next months I'm living my werewolf dreams through these videos, haha.
i think it would be nice if Nina joined the Wildfangs, and Angus joined the other pack. i feel that Angus is more righteous and calm, while Nina is more wild and adventurous.
besides, i feel that Nina could get along really well with Rory. maybe they could be best friends, or girlfriends?? i would be a nice lore at the end of the gameplay, where Nina will have to challange Rory to be the alpha of the pack.
also, Angus could become Christopher's kind of adopted son, maybe. The lore of the pack is that Rory is Christopher's daughter, and she left his pack to build her own. So maybe Christopher can see Angus as the child he wishes he had, who has the same ideals as him and etc. that will also be a nice lore at the end, when Angus challenges him to become the alpha.

This is so cool! I think after Nina has become a werewolf she should focus on getting the traits that are helpful for living outdoors with no resources (being able to sleep and pee outside, finding her own food ect.) Nina thinks that being a werewolf is really cool and exciting, and she gets involved with the Wild Fangs.
Angus asks Christopher to bite him, and gets involved with the Moonwood collective.
Maybe later on in the LP, Nina asks Jacob to be her boyfriend and tries to persuade him to leave the Moonwood collective and join the Wildfangs instead. I don't know if it's possible to persuade werewolves to change packs but it might be interesting to try.
A vampire, werewolf, and a robot walk into a bar… sounds like a set up for a joke haha

i like the idea of angus befriending a werewolf from the chill pack and asking for a bite :) like after he sees nina become a werewolf he wants in too! but obviously he isn't going to elect for the painful route of getting attacked, and would rather plan it on his own terms.

I really enjoy it, and decided to come watch one of your rtr videos for this pack and I CANNOT BELIEVE you built all four lots!
