Can I suggest a way for you to have a straight line after you cut the plastic bottle? ...Simply use a hot clothes iron and leave it standing up. Bring the Botton of the plastic bottle near the hot surface and gently press the circumference of the bottle (bottom of the bottle) on it. It will stand straight on a table at the end. Temperature medium-high.
