Thank you for creating videos like this. The way you draw and talk about each piece gives me permission to make messes and create not so great stuff. I am more motivated to draw when I don’t feel less than just because it doesn’t look good.
I just discovered your channel a week or so ago as I'm getting back into my art. You are such an amazing teacher and artist. I love that you can communicate not just art techniques but how to grow as an artist. This challenge was so much fun. Portrait drawing is what I have always gravitated to and drawing with a timer was something I've never done before. It's a great way to force yourself to accept the blunders and not reach for the eraser. Every mark I put down becomes more intentional. Thanks for sharing your gift!
The only fool proof option is to put it under glass, which usually costs too much. I haven't done this myself but some people have tried a spray varnish or something similar, so you might look that up. I've also had it shrink wrapped for shipping as well. -Prof Lieu

Great! Most of what I do is just a big blobby mess, has to start that way imo! -Prof Lieu

Drawing along is always wonderful, but it's equally rewarding to watch and listen. BTW, I kept helping you blow of the dust. Haha.
