Is this done yearly? Same dosage for goats and sheep? I hear you on the loss of one due to no shots. I had a ram die of tetanus after fighting with another ram and his horn was damaged. I should have given him a shot right away but lost him a few weeks later. So going to get ontop of the vaccinating so I don't have to go through that again! I tried to be all natural but that is a horrible death to witness.
I had a goat break his horn right off a few years ago and it ended up dying. Cdt should be boosted every year. I usually do it in the spring and I think the vaccine is something like 3cc, but it tells you on the bottle. Calves get 5cc. I like to be as natural as I can, but I won’t withhold helpful things and I think cdt is a cheap insurance policy. Also, there’s a period of time between administering and harvesting. Thank You for watching. I’m pretty sure lambs and kids get the same dose, but it tells you on the bottle
