so cool to see this video, i def wanna check out el transito! i was a volunteer at a hostel in popoyo/ guasacate and there were perfect waves steps away from me :) glad you had a good time!
Thank you Reni! Love to see you catching them waves in New Zealand must have been an incredible experience. Def, it can be challenging, but the thrill and joy of riding the waves make it all worthwhile!
I’m SO sorry for all the comments ahaha. Would you be able to link all the places you stayed/ mentioned (like accommodations) in the description? I’m so intrigued!!
Ofcourse, Hush in Maderes, Vibra Guest House in Popoyo (also recommend Magnific Rock, closest to the surf break Beginners Bay), and El Transito Nimbu Surf House
Thank you so much! Everything was mostly spontaneous, and everything was centered around finding the best surf spots based on my surfing level. My first stop was Playa Maderes as I was traveling from Costa Rica, and that was the nearest spot. After that, I wanted to keep exploring and heard some amazing things about Popoyo and El Transito from the locals and surfers who were surfing the coast of Nicaragua, so I knew I had to check them out. I personally like to not plan my trip too much and leave space for spontaneity and adventure because that is what makes it fun! This allows you to have a feel for the country while you are there and shift any moment you feel like!
I also explored a few spots in Nicaragua while traveling between the different surf spots, such as San Juan del Sur, Granada, and Leon. I also visited the magical Volcano Island and did some volcano boarding. I will definitely share all the details in the next video
Great video love it 😊
Thank you!! 😊

Did you feel like there were mostly Nicaraguans there or was it a lot of foreigners?
A good mix, I would say, depending on where you go! The surf spots and the popular areas definitely had a lot of tourists!
Amazing!!!!!
Soooo cool
