"boil em,mash em,stick em in a stew" Our pressure cooker stew was simple but delicious. Lol. Looks good GregO. I usually leave everything whole. If my carrots are to big I cut them in half. Yummy. I'm going to make this today. But our weather is still hot here .
Leave the water out and toss the beef in flour before browning, jobs a good'un. May still have to thicken a little but less of that floury taste you can get. Or use Gravox!
I wish I had some of that cooling weather also because it's been close to 100 for the past few days today feels like it's a chilly day, 73 degrees Fahrenheit where I am in the USA
4:35 I had to fast forward the meat cutting bit, I get squeamish looking at meat getting cut up. When I cut my meat for stews etc. I have to close my eyes whilst doing it. LOL. "What a bloody mess you've made" my better half says when she enters the kitchen.
I use half pork, half beef, bit of soy sauce, a red chili or two. Otherwise practically the same recipe. Also use it for moose stew, again with 50% pork for the fat.
@@LasquenetSavage Mate I was in the uk for 3 weeks recently - the heat was oppressive. I live on the Gold Coast and I swear it never gets that hot here 😂 I guess it’s a “different” kind of heat.

I've seen a You Tuber recently full meat eater going out with a vegan? said she found him on YT and liked his stuff? haha! crazy vegans really like the meat for sure.
looked like an Irish Colcannen except replace beef with sausages and stick the garlic ,wine ,bay leaf , etc. . you said dont have garlic whole . I dont eat fish whole , I spit that out . Ha Ha
Hey Greggo! When a company sends you a cooking device, you gotta mark the video as a sponsored vid. If they didn't send you a free sample, it's always good practice to say it's not sponsored, right at the beginning of the video. Too be honest, I skipped through most of this video because this wasn't specified at the beginning of the vid, nor in the title. If you mentioned this within the video, I missed it, and quite a few others would have also. Nothing wrong with creating a showpiece for a product, but transparency is always key.
Coat the beef in flour before you braise it. I also put flour in the unit before I close it up because it thickens the mixture up.

Love a beef stew especially when it's cold weather which we are lacking over here in England, thanks for another awesome video 👍
Don't worry. The cold weather will be back to you soon and then we'll have the hot weather.

"the weather's cooling down" in which I remember Greg lives in the southern hemisphere ...
Queensland Australia to be precise. It's still winter here but there's been some sunny and warm days of recent.

Mr Greggo maybe some thickener after it’s cooked corn flour mixed in water mate so it thickens other then that good job

Perfect yummy i will follow your recipe i got steak stew venison thanks craig from nz and go the warriors
Could you use a stovetop pressure cooker instead of an Instant Pot?
You should have added some celery. It's so good in stew. It needed more flour and more thyme. Some green beans too.
Yep, definitely needed Celery. But he might not have had any.
