I just now realized that if you were just a ten year old kid watching this show in season one, you would have been a 20 year old adult when it ended. Going through your while life with these people and then watching them leave...its a lot more than just a show, its like a part of your everyday life as you go through all these changes and reach all of these milestones....sure didn't feel like 10 years...
Smallville rules what small minded person put an end to the greatest manifestation of superman. I am 58 years young and loved superman as far back as I can remember and Tom welling and the smallville cast are awesome , they had a arrow character ready made a flash character and an aquaman and a cyborg,it was ready to go. The justice league was there. DC and Warner bros need to translate the small screen to the large. Smallvile had the privilege of having Christopher reeve in several episodes. The man (superman) who brought the greatest superhero their is and ever will be to the people , who now more than ever need him to give us a reason to believe that a man or woman can fly. People need inspiration, give us a superman that inspires us ,like Tom did in smallville.
Like many other preteen girls in the late 70's, I was totally in love with John Schneider. Fast forward 30 years and to be honest, I haven't really followed his career very closely, just occasionally seeing him in guest appearances and such. I just recently started watching Smallville on DVD with my kids, so I watched this interview with the cast. After seeing this and a few other interviews with John, my adoration and respect for this gentleman has just gone right back up through the roof!
5:55 You can literally hear the audience saying: “ Whaaat” and evening giggling after that ladies question lol and the look on Tom and Jonathan’s faces even they’re confused by her question.
When he asked Tom what it was like acting with the man HE GREW UP WITH BEING SUPERMAN, I shook my head because if your a fan of the actors on this show you know that Tom Welling did not grow up a 'Superman' fan. Actually, I believe that in an earlier interview he admitted he had never even read the Superman comics before signing on with the show, although he did know about SUPERMAN. So that is not what impressed him, he was impressed with 'Christopher Reeves'... & the spirit of the man that was PARALYZED from the neck down.
I don't know what interview you are talking about because I have seen one where he said that Christopher Reeve was Superman to him when he was growing up. Also, you mention Tom not reading the comics. Christopher Reeve was in the movie. Its not the same thing at all. of all the things there are in this world to "shake your head at" I shake my head about the fact that you focus on this. There is not much in the world that matters less.
@@ktwashere5637 The fact that you haven't seen what I mentioned doesn't INVALIDATE that I saw it and your obvious attempt at doing that requires I not even bother to read your comment thru. RESPECT. You don't know me, I don't know you; YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I've seen and I don't know what you've seen... be blessed anyway!
@Xeranx People get my name wrong all the time. Like, literally, ALL the time. I've met one person who got it right in one try. it doesn't bother me a bit.
11 years and no one answered you.. damn. It was for the dad who said it's his daughters 18th birthday. He wanted to ask for Tom's name tag thingy for his daughter but before he could ask the first time around he broke into tears and couldn't finish his question until John asked him to complete his question. He asked without the mic.
JOHN SCHNEIDER is so cool for sticking up for the guy who only wanted to wish his daughter a happy birthday.
Tom Welling and John Schneider kinda seem like father and son in real life.
Wow; that last comment by John brought tears to my eyes... what a wonderful person... he really does appreciate the fans and that is amazing!!

John Schneider is a class act for speaking up for the gentlemen with the 18 year old daughter's birthday. Take care.
Peace To All

Well both Tom and John know how to fix houses and barns during the Smallville days so asked them to go fix up your roof .
