Slacks only barely made immortal, meanwhile cap could very reasonably get 10k if he played to grind instead of playing with friends and everyone else in the party is a literal league above slacks in mmr. There is no reason they or you should take anything he says seriously or to heart, if he means it then its an insult from someone who is quite worse at the game and should be ignored, if it's for the bit then it likely does them all a favor because it gets them views and clicks. My problem is I'll watch a video and then there's slacks saying shit like "hit your skill shots" "I'm not insulting you, have you played this hero before?" "This is what happens when you lose lane" to purge when they won their lane. He crouches his insults by adding laughter at the end of his sentence, but if you've seen content with him, it's clearly not a joke. He doesn't make these comments in games they do well in. He's a toxic asshole who brings other people down, and gets kicks out of kicking other people when they're down. Not even mentioning that some of purges content is completely unwatchable, because slacks is spamming voice lines so much you literally can't hear purge speak. I'd also like to make it clear I don't care about their rank, I care about their behavior. Someone being good at the game doesn't excuse them being a jackass.

An important aspect of friend groups is knowing how much you can rip on them in a manner that isn't actually being insulting and a jackass. This is what Slacks was doing here. They're all comfortable with Slacks, and in the past, Slacks has told them to fire back because he lives by the idea that if you're being rude/toxic, then you should receive as good as you give. Which is very fair. Anyway, in this case, it's clear that they're just messing around and having fun. As someone that's pretty conflict avoidant, I have friends where I could say the stuff Slacks siad here and not worry about hurting anyone's feelings. "This is what happens when you lose your lane", "can you land your skills please". Tone matters a lot. I don't think Slacks is trying to deflect his "toxicity" with his laughs, I think he's genuinely just ripping into them but not in a condescending or demeaning way.
