“Does that make sense?” “You know what I mean?” “You feel me?” Things I ask people after I explain things. Great video of an infj in their element. 👌🏽 Thanks for making us feel understood and giving us a better understanding of how we use our functions.
Sara MBTI You know it’s scary. I’m watching this video again and the three parts that resonate with me on an uncanny level is. 1) Being a comedian early in life, back in elementary and middle school I was the class clown and made everyone laugh, even in random places like restaurants I’d hit on waitresses just for the fun of it, my friends even referred to me as a comedian. 2) Always being friends with older people. Most of my life, especially in high school, I always got along well with people older than me. Sometimes younger people too. I was never close with anyone my age, not even in high school, and I’m still not. I’m either cool with people older or younger than me. 3) Having ability’s yet not showing them to people. I used to be great at parkour and boxing, my punches are literally lightning fast yet I never showed people and always used punching bags when no one was around. I guess I just don’t like bragging about myself.
Sara MBTI Its funny, my neighbor 2 houses down from me is an enfj. We talked about psychology and I brought up MBTI to him, something just made me want to ask him, and sure enough he knew about MBTI. Told me his type and everything started to make sense. We’re brother types, I even said that and he liked that and agreed lol. He made me take a different kind of MBTI test 3 times in front of him and sure enough. You know what I got those 3 times lol 😂
I think that an INFJ speaks deeply about subjects when they come across something of interest, but I figured out in my life, that most people don't like deep conversations, so I try to avoid those with friends and family, but inside my head, there's always that deepness, and I can't help but talk to myself in my mind and then get lost in my thoughts. People have short attention spans, and maybe that's why they don't like wrapping their minds around such complicated topics, but for me, I find it rather fascinating I guess. I usually make jokes to revert the conversation to a safe place too, I do it a lot, and most times, I don't have straight forward answers to things, so maybe some people don't see where i'm going.... perspective is super important, putting yourself in others shoes is unavoidable, and that makes you a more understanding and adaptable person I think. But most people don't think the same...
I find that a lot of people like to treat everything as a joke. I don’t think I’ve ever had serious conversations with a group of people but rather 1 or 2 people at once at most
Yes perspective is very important but it is different for everyone. So we even if we are specifically talking about something the person shall not get it from his perspective or imagination or experience I guess. So I also try to avoid such conversations.
Freaking same. SAAAAME. I have just practiced myself to talk about bland stuff and gossip. Unless they really need help with something in their lives, then I open up because they need something from me and they allow me to give it to them. But if I try to talk about something that isn't relevant to them in that particular moment it's like talking to a wall.
I love how there's never a straightforward, simple answer. He's very introspective, always searching for the deepest nature of things, sees how everything is connected beneath the surface...yep, seems INFJ to me!
I feel like we INFJs really do this, saying to someone: "I don't know" and then wait for them to give you their perspective. We aren't afraid to admit that we don't know things and we are interested in other people's perspective, but in the end we still don't know and just left the question out there in the open, unsolved forever..
ya because infj doesn't want to get in the way of someones ego and they think the person should think for themselves and not let their ego get in the way cause if someone with an ego thinks something and you say something different then their ego will be upset and infj wants them to think
I feel we say “I don’t know” a lot because we are always searching for deeper meaning, as one can never be too sure of things. Theres always a deeper meaning, and you can only find that deeper meaning by endlessly seeking. INFJ's fire up the deeper meaning processor part of their brains while saying the words ''I don't know''.
Yea, i kinda do it a lot. I would like to observe what the other person think first and then gave them a new perspective while in the bad side it will give me chance to manipulating them. But when i realized it i will let them be free to think cause i feel sorry for almost stir their thoughts to what i want them to be.
I think we say it to gain time, it's not like we don't know what we want to say, but the way we say it or if it is going to be received by the other person in the way we want is I notice what stops me a little. I need a few more seconds to know if the other person will like what I'm about to say, and decide which words I'm gonna use.
This is an excellent example for an INFJ analysis. Something I noticed which might be worth mentioning is that when pacino mentioned himself being depressed, he slowed what he was saying down and his eyes drifted in a different direction, the interviewer tried to ask another question presumably related to that undoubtedly sensitive topic, it seemed like pacino was clearly trying to evade any further questions on the matter which personally I would do, sometimes I take the risk of revealing something about myself and immediately regretting it once it's said. Does anyone agree that might have happened?
@@SaraMBTI My favourite part of this and its something that resonates with me tremendously is his response to that final question - "What we're doing right now", I do often feel like every time I interact with someone I'm acting, I am soo incredibly private as well, even to the point no one actually knows of my true ambition, I think that particularly is because I hold it so close to me. Stumbling across mbti changed my life, initially thinking I was a stranger in the world and then suddenly everything about me makes sense, and if there's anywhere I feel a sense of belonging it's in the mbti community and I have thank people like you for that, it feels so good to relate.
It also captures the independent/assertiveness of an INFJ. My body language/speech is so similar to him in person when I am comfortable. I often make witty jokes identically to him too. Thanks for posting this!

The only dead give-aways to me are the steady gaze, circumspection, and overall calm composure. And that eye-flitting thing. Lol. Gotta flit that eye now and then to zoom out and reframe.

Relatable. Last week a close friend of mine said to me "Man, every time I see you I question myself". I never noticed the influence I have on people until now and it's funny because these kind of deep conversation are just ideas that walk in my head and don't try to push people to think different, but are the trigger

His childhood was mine to a T. Though my mom was a home maker, she busied herself with chores (and even when done, desperately needed her alone time) so never bothered to connect with me in any meaningful way. And my sis being 5 years younger was a whole generational gap away. So in my little alone-ness, I wrapped myself in the stories and characters I would watch on TV, and yes, often after would create imaginary conversations with myself pretending I was part of those worlds. Thank you for a superb analysis of the INFJ ❤️

Probably asked are you tough because he plays tough characters, so he wonders where does AL pull that from. Maybe he should have prefaced the question that way?
Great video, however, at 3:02 I don't think he is referring to the interviewer's question. He is referring to the fact that one of them is playing the role of interviewer and one of them is playing the role of interviewee. These roles are artificial and not either of the individual's true identity. The entire societal structure is one big act per se. From a fellow male INFJ, who really gets Pachino, I'm pretty sure this is what he means.
This really gave me a chance to view how an INFJ is perceived from an outside perspective. I relate to Al so much here, but I was thinking about the interviewer, and he was probably like “Will you _please_ just answer my questions?” XD
tomcookies90 is that an actual thing? Do MBTI types really have their shadow personalities? I’ve taken the test a few times over the years and I’ve always gotten INFJ but recently due to some things I’ve realized in terms of my mental health I feel like I’m becoming a different person. It makes me wonder if I’m picking up shadow traits or my personality type is changing
It’s crazy because I was trying to figure out if I was an INFJ taking all kinds of tests and everything. I got INFP and also INFJ my gut told me I am an INFJ and I’m so glad to come across this video watching him and the analysis I am exactly the same way. I think and analyze bigger ideas all the time sitting outside in nature. Thank you this really helped.
I don’t think we are all just one particular MBTI. There’s a spectrum , it may be that we fall and reasonate more with a specific type. But we can have or share a little of multiple MBTI’s. In short , you could be both a INFJ and a INFP
In my case, I tend to test as INTJ, though the very first time I took the test I was an INFJ. The only thing I knew for certain was that I was an Ni Dom with an inferior Se. However, I tend to think I’m INFJ now because of resources like this.
A few things I noticed that aren't mentioned in the video: He stares off into the distance a lot (Ni trying to see through and find the essence of things) "How do you mean tough?" Trying to establish a solid base from which to answer a question so Ni can grasp onto a clear point from which to expand "I wouldn't know if I am or not" Lack of Fi: unaware of self and internal motivations "I'm doing it now" Meta quality of Ni, understands self through analysis (Ti) rather than narratives (Fi) "so you know who you are, where you been, why you've been there, and what you gonna do and why you're doing it" circular nature of Ni, wants a total and complete encapturing embodiment of something
Hmmm not bad. Although at the very end there, he was considering himself to be acting as well... Ni dom's kinda have this thing where they know how what they are saying is going to come off so they choose their words, aka scripts, carefully... They know what they are saying and how they are saying it and what affects it will give off and sort write those "scripts" per se in their mind and weigh the scripts to see which one of them they should pursue. Then at that point, all there's left is to perform the script... A very Ni dominant, Se inferior kinda thing... Choose the script (Ni), then perform it (Se)...
There is something very ISTP-ish about Mr Pacino here...very authentic! :) I'm glad you decided to showcase that playful/cool-dude side of INFJs, whereas most of the time people focus on the feely-fe-effing bits to get the pity-party going.
INFJ's are alot of work lol I'm currently figuring out how to better communicate with extraverts, I've always been good at it but c'mon now we're all INFJ's here right? We get obsessed with our own interests. I'm currently interested in communicating, I just got a new job so I have to get used to being surrounded by this energy all the time. Funny enough it's quite interesting like I slightly tapped more into my extraverted side although it is difficult.🤦🏾♂️
Yes, I hear this a lot as well. I sometimes don't feel the compulsion to tell someone I used to do what ever they are currently doing because it's too exhausting. We already know what we ourselves did or think but now here is the opportunity to hear someone else's story and that is more interesting.
wow this was quite insightful! as an infj I'm even more intrigued, like right now I wanna know this man more. does anyone have recommendations of his work? I'm profoundly interested, which is why I'm considering on watching his stuff or the things he's been involved in. thank you! I applaud you for this analysis. enjoyed it a ton!
Hi Sara! I recently came across your channel and I must say you have one of the best and most interesting MBTI channels! I like your innovative approach and your clear analysis on the different MBTI types. Thank you and keep up the amazing work. Greetings from the Netherlands
That's why we are misunderstood most of the times because we see things differently and at the same we face different types of people. Its really hard for us to adjust as to expressing ourselves without being misunderstood.
Thank you, this is a refreshing and accurate take on INFJs. I actually thought he was an ISTP because of a movie role he played. The things you describe in this video are actually the things I do for the reasons you mentioned. It's kind of weird to see that since I didn't know anyone else did that too, haha.
I have a hard time maintaining eye contact. I know some people will find me rude to do so but I cannot help it. Sometimes when I am in my own thoughts trying to articulate the word my eyes will dart around and the person in front of me will try to follow where my gaze goes and then I will snap right out of it. Just can’t help it.
the video interpreted the last line wrong. he is refering as acting not to the "question" but the whole process/ act of interview in a serious moking + kidding manner bcz back of his mind it is reflecting somewhere that "our existence in the universe is so minute and temporary and here we are acting as if two realised authentic men admist a deep conversation" . infjs are a lot more indeed. you are getting what I'm trying to say, right?
See the guard come up when the interviewer tries to set him up, " when a child comes to you and asks, 'Mr Pacino, what is acting'? "and he has just been describing it in different ways. but the interviewer wants a short, succinct description. Like a game of cat and mouse, Pacino really wants him to recognize that it's who he is, what he does.
It is amazing to jump into a conversation that has been on-going for three years. We are time travelers who have come together in the infinite now to grok together. Excellent!
He is not an INFJ. He has dominant Ti not tertiary. Look at his eyes the first thing he does is introverted thinking, reflexively. He thinks without pause and prefers Ti over Fe. It's very obvious that he is a dominant thinker. He is also strongly aware of his past and searching for reasons about why he is the way he is in his biography rather then in holistic and abstract explanations. He prefers intrinsic philosophizing (Ti-Ni) rather than engaging in present Fe with the interviewer. He is an ISTP
It's so funny, it's like watching me, i find it really hard to connect with people on a deep basis, but listening to him just makes me say "So I can experience it too, I'm not alone"
@@SophiiLuca well...it's easy to spot an army with that pic😌 💜anyway...I think it's the "infj eyes" both have that intense/nostalgic look that is extremely charming. I'm European what about you?
This was great! It moved too quickly. I needed more time to process your comments with his actions. Slow it down. Pause the words and rewind. Maybe show full clip and go back again a second time to highlight your points as they speak a second. But fascinating! 😉
is that like the old Frank James from the past? just looked at those eyes before the video starts. wow. intj here I usually spot Ni doms from subtler things. its fascinating.
These are strange creatures, I’m not sure we’d understand each other. I think they’re like these rare little garden pixie fellows and ENTPs are these big blundering assholes that might step on them by accident. Having said that, having Fe, even in the third spot (though slightly better developed because I’m a girl I guess,) some of his mannerisms reminded me of myself (“you know what I mean?”).
Could you, pretty please, elaborate more on what makes you think that INFJs are strange? I have been reading and reading but I just don't get it, I find myself a little odd but I'm not facinated or shocked by my type at all. I love it bacause it's me but still, seems so basic to me. I feel crazy since everybody says the contrary .
Scart Darcy sorry, I don’t mean strange as in odd or bad, but in the same sense as ‘stranger’, kind of distant and unknowable. I may be completely off the mark, but then I doubt I’ve ever met an INFJ. I think they’re probably quite interesting in some ways, though I’m not fond of feelers as a general rule.
Idk if this is why he did that, because for me it’s like, you neither have patience nor the actual desire to receive what I want to say. So I’ll keep it short for you and I’d rather we move on. Because you’ll probably misunderstand it anyway. The fact that this interview is what will bring in fame and money and attention, anyone will easily want to manipulate what I want to say. And no one might actually understand what the actual context was
What he said in the video is that life is a Joke. And I agree with him. When the interviewer asked "what is acting" and he said "is what we are doing right now", No lie detected. I'm a proud INFJ. Thank you for the video.
Great analysis of the interview and what a fascinating individual! Just a side note, I think you might have made a typo. You wrote "Te" when I think you meant "Fe."

I relate to Al so much here, but I was thinking about the interviewer, and he was probably like “Will you _please_ just answer my questions?” XD
truee , so we need someone who really listens and understands us
I think about that a lot. Like if someone understands when I speak about certain topics lol
Oh snaps, INFJs are so interesting!😍
Indeed :)
Thank you! 😂
Hard Style thanks
lol no
That's a great video.
... he wouldn't know if he was vulnerable, he would imagine he was! I can relate to that, Fi in the shadow.
that's a way of understating things. like something so obvious you dont have to say it.
I'm an entp and I am looking for what my ideal partner should look like 😂😂😂
Aww that's so sweet
😂😂
De acordo com o MBTI, seu parceiro ideal seria um INTJ.
Hard to believe this guy played Tony Montana. It's almost like he played his polar opposite.
ESTP. Shadow side.
Scarface is my favorite movie and what made me a fan of his
tomcookies90 is that an actual thing? Do MBTI types really have their shadow personalities? I’ve taken the test a few times over the years and I’ve always gotten INFJ but recently due to some things I’ve realized in terms of my mental health I feel like I’m becoming a different person. It makes me wonder if I’m picking up shadow traits or my personality type is changing
@@vl2663 yes of course is an actual thing when you are in terrible stress you use 6th until 9th functions that makes you become something else
Just Toha hmmm very interesting
Kinda sad we don’t have this kinda interviews now, rich, with depth, real.
"We're all tough. Life is a tough place" INFP here crying to these words of wisdom
I really like how his Ti influences him, thanks for sharing, Sara.
thank you for watching
@@thegman9663 Yeah that makes total sense. I definitely agree that we all are multiple MBTI and I never thought of it that way so thanks for that.
In my case, I tend to test as INTJ, though the very first time I took the test I was an INFJ. The only thing I knew for certain was that I was an Ni Dom with an inferior Se. However, I tend to think I’m INFJ now because of resources like this.
So genuine. Unpretentious. Class act.
A few things I noticed that aren't mentioned in the video:
He stares off into the distance a lot (Ni trying to see through and find the essence of things)
"How do you mean tough?" Trying to establish a solid base from which to answer a question so Ni can grasp onto a clear point from which to expand
"I wouldn't know if I am or not" Lack of Fi: unaware of self and internal motivations
"I'm doing it now" Meta quality of Ni, understands self through analysis (Ti) rather than narratives (Fi)
"so you know who you are, where you been, why you've been there, and what you gonna do and why you're doing it" circular nature of Ni, wants a total and complete encapturing embodiment of something
Staring off into the distance doesn’t mean Ni. I stare off into the distance all the time and I’m an Ne user
I'm glad you decided to showcase that playful/cool-dude side of INFJs, whereas most of the time people focus on the feely-fe-effing bits to get the pity-party going.
Its his Ti that youre seeing.
I did those little coffee houses, too. Not many people know that about me. Actually, no one does. Boy, can I relate to Mr. Pacino.
Yes, I hear this a lot as well. I sometimes don't feel the compulsion to tell someone I used to do what ever they are currently doing because it's too exhausting. We already know what we ourselves did or think but now here is the opportunity to hear someone else's story and that is more interesting.
As an ISTP I can totally understand INFJs
wow this was quite insightful! as an infj I'm even more intrigued, like right now I wanna know this man more. does anyone have recommendations of his work? I'm profoundly interested, which is why I'm considering on watching his stuff or the things he's been involved in. thank you!
I applaud you for this analysis. enjoyed it a ton!
Thank you, dear Infj :)💕
Watch movies where he plays a main role. He is amazing actor
Watch Scarface its a classic lol
You wont find it in his movies, hes acting there.
But he is acting here too
"Dog Day Afternoon" is some of his best work. Enjoy.
Hi Sara! I recently came across your channel and I must say you have one of the best and most interesting MBTI channels! I like your innovative approach and your clear analysis on the different MBTI types. Thank you and keep up the amazing work. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you so much!
This is so interesting, such a good analysis. I had no idea he had such an infj way of thinking. Thank you
Thank you 💕
infj my self, i agree with this.
INFJ is one of my favorite types. I’m INTJ. Just a letter away.
Awww
INTJ is one of my favorite types. I'm an INFJ lol
It's like watching myself on video, and it makes me feel awkward. Could watch him answer questions all day, very interesting. Lol!
Relatability = 💯
Now I can sleep peacefully,
I thought I was the Only infj who looks Emotionless.
This is very spot on!!! Especially the moments of Ti that crop up to balance the Ni.
Me exercising my inferior Se: His hair looks absolutely nuts in this interview
Infj's are awesome.. 😍😍
this is very well done! (infj here) keep up the fantastic work! i can’t wait for your analysis on the ENFP (my sister is one) :D
It's next!
Thank you 💕
Yes I am also an infj u are spot on!
Excellent!
I can relate so much
Same
He is not an INFJ.
Dude he's an ESFJ and I'm not kidding
INFx are incredible actors from what I've seen
Sim. Cada vez mais reafirmo essa conclusão.
It's so funny, it's like watching me, i find it really hard to connect with people on a deep basis, but listening to him just makes me say
"So I can experience it too, I'm not alone"
Trying define "tough" so you can begin to tackle the question....and the contradictions of your own "toughness"....sooo INFJ.
Shoutout for people who bother making such a precious videos.
He reminds me a lot of Frank James. Is it just me?
I was exactly thinking the very same thing!! keep on thinking about FJ~
Anyways...hi Park Jimin!😉
@@saras.5619 Oh hi there 😆 Didn't expect anyone to know about bts here 😅
@@SophiiLuca well...it's easy to spot an army with that pic😌 💜anyway...I think it's the "infj eyes" both have that intense/nostalgic look that is extremely charming.
I'm European what about you?
His demeanor reminds me of my high school English teacher sort of xD Very calm, collected, but interested in deep concepts. Really cool!
This was a spectacular interview
"what is acting?" - Going to an interview or 1st date, same thing
Wow he is weird...just like me. -You know what I'm sayin'? 💛
I've been trying to figure him out for the longest time. Thanks, this is great!
Thank you :) 😃
The interviewer is great!
This was great! It moved too quickly. I needed more time to process your comments with his actions. Slow it down. Pause the words and rewind. Maybe show full clip and go back again a second time to highlight your points as they speak a second. But fascinating! 😉
This is so me!
I love that style of videos
INFJ are so attractive oh god -estp
Please do infp sometime! ❤️ thanks 😊
Very soon ❤
one thing that NF skill could have is to scoop the ‘big’ picture. That’s why you can easily read situation.
wow..............I think Stone Cold Steve Austin would be a good example of a reckless INFJ.
Rahul Kishore an obvious ISTP
Am I right??????
Actually he's an ESTP, but he can be a good example of a destructive INFJ.
This feels like watching myself in another life
Love these videos, makes me want to analyse everyone... Please keep making them!!
Both Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer are infjs.. makes me want to watch Scarface
is that like the old Frank James from the past? just looked at those eyes before the video starts. wow. intj here I usually spot Ni doms from subtler things. its fascinating.
@@seventhsheaven By reading your comment i can be almost be sure you havent met an INFJ male.
And no one might actually understand what the actual context was
wow ! i didn't know he's an infj ! this was amazing and his last joke (sarcasm) about Acting is so funny xD
OMG this is so real especially that last bit. I’ve done that so many times! I’m so scared of getting caught lol
Lmfao I was also an only child who did and still does love to daydream and I'm an infj
this is so accurate for me. especially the "you know what i mean" thing.
I loved this!
What he said in the video is that life is a Joke. And I agree with him. When the interviewer asked "what is acting" and he said "is what we are doing right now", No lie detected. I'm a proud INFJ. Thank you for the video.
Thank you !
you're welcome
"What were doing right now thats acting" 100 percent me thats crazy exactly how I feel. LOL
Sara, this was great video of yours. Thank you for such a beautiful video ^^
Thank you for watching 😆💕
@@SaraMBTI haha, I like watching most of your videos, Sara ^^ You fascinate me :') ❤️💕
Wow, I relate to this so much. I can agree that he is infj. Very clear signs. Your videos are very accurate
Glad to hear this 💕
Priceless interview. Yes I would say all Pacino is an INFJ.
More INFJ please ! This was very eye opening
💕 will do!
Omg 😩 this is so relatable “does that make sense ?!” “ I guess “ “ I don’t know I just know “ 😭
Okay, yes. I felt that XD
As INTJ,
I like INFJ SO much
Great analysis of the interview and what a fascinating individual! Just a side note, I think you might have made a typo. You wrote "Te" when I think you meant "Fe."
Thank you :)) He is very fascinating for me too! It's not a typo, I meant Te as Infjs blind spot.
Interesting... he hints at a meaning he hopes others will be just as able to see.
