    Woke up every weekday morning to this show on WDBJ Ch. 7 Roanoke Va. Sheffield Ave./Towers Shopping Ctr. I use to ride my bike to the station in hopes of seeing my Bluegrass hero's.

    フラット&スクラッグスのTVショーはDVDやネット動画をかなり見ましたが、テネシーカットアップスのTVショーはほとんど知りませんでした。スタンレーとのコラボが豪華ですね。❤

      it's during the twin banjo part with just Don and Ralph. Also read the info in the video description. They aren't really playing what's being heard in the video. ua-cam.com/video/P52QD1yBBso/v-deo.html

    How many Reno and Smiley programs were made? I've only seen this one and the first one.

      they only did two for Kroger. But they did a TV show for channel WDBJ called the "Top O' The Morning" show for many years. Unfortunately those shows were not saved. Back then they used the same film over and over and recorded over the previous shows. Think of the hours and hours of great music that was lost. Such a shame.

    Who is playing Red's D-28 with the double pick guards?

    • @renoman
      @renoman 6 років тому +1

      That's Don Reno's guitar not Red's. The guy playing it is Steve Chapman. He usually played electric guitar with Reno and Smiley. He later went on to play with Ernest Tubb.

      Jason Skinner thanks. I thought it was Red's 1940 D-28.

    The bassist Duck Austin? Is playing some great bass here. In doing some research on the Tennessee Cut-Ups not much out there and no info this fine bassist anywhere…. Anybody got anymore info or could direct me to a web site? These guys were a great group of musicians. S

      Reno and Smiley's bass player was John Palmer. I run the Reno and Smiley fan club on FB. Plenty of info there. And you can message me there with any questions as well. facebook.com/groups/renoandsmileyfanclub
