    3:30 Why was there no water in the sediment samples? I don't understand that.
    Is there enough of a pressure differential between 1.3 km and the surface to kill some of the organisms?

    Excellent content! Making a brazillian portuguese audio track available was good call! It sounds too robotic though. At least from my perspective, the constant tone and rapid pace without natural breathing intervals got in the way of truly enjoying the content. Maybe you should try other available tools for automatically generated speech.

      Oils would make more sense to me. Given the conditions it's not unreasonable to think that oil would be used as part of an anti-icing mechanism. Those who have had frostbite can attest to how damaging ice crystals can be internally.
      Certainly going to need more study one way or another. Anyone in need of a Doctorate project?
      In some ways, whats just as amazing, is just how many super smart people there are in the world.The amount of dedication it takes just to get to level at which you even know what is 'unknown' and how to look for it is mind blowing.
      I have trouble keeping up just watching YT, let alone have any time to actually contribute to the great egghead of science. It is both inspiring, and humbling.

    Maybe since life evolves around its enviroment, when they took the samples out of the enviroment and brought it up to a new one, it messed some micro life up or killed others, think deep sea fishing, or blobfish comparison of deep down to surface, idk it may not be the same on micro lvl

    Svalbard!

  • @travholt
    @travholt Рік тому +5

    You're technically correct in using "Norwegian fjord" in the title, but I feel it's a bit misleading. If you go to the northernmost part of mainland Norway, then continue north halfway to the North Pole from there, you'll reach Svalbard. It's pretty far north, and not what most people think of when speaking of Norwegian fjords.

    • @ztuzar163
      @ztuzar163 Рік тому +3

      The only sure thing is that Svalbard is not ruzzian fjords !

    • @PK1312
      @PK1312 Рік тому +1

      How is it misleading? It's a Norwegian fjord. Just because it's not one of the ones that people think of immediately doesn't mean it's not one. It's not misleading to say that Buffalo is a city in the United States just because it's probably not the first city that would come to mind if you asked people to imagine one. For it to be misleading it would have to be either not a fjord or not norwegian.

    • @travholt
      @travholt Рік тому

      @@PK1312 As a Norwegian grown up living in a fjord, if someone says "Norwegian fjord" Svalbard doesn't even cross my mind, and from this video's title I expected it to be about one of the mainland fjords we're famous for.

    Tal vez, sean los mismos muertos quienes piden venganza y guerra y el espíritu lo hago. Disculpen por hablarme de eso pero pasan cosas, como por ejemplo lo del accidente en la constructora después de que yo llegara a trabajar a una. Una voz dijo que mañana mismo sería operado, y se corto una cadena accidentado a un posible ser humano aborrecible. No seamos como ellos, como los muertos.
