Text: 1 Corinthians 16:[1-4]
Hi Congregation,
We are nearing the end of our time in 1st Corinthians. What a ride! And what an opportunity to reflect on what it looks like to follow Jesus throughout all the complexities of life.
This week, we will be focusing 0n the last topic that Paul addresses: "The Collection".
"Now about the collection for the Lord's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2 On the first day of the week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made."
Yes, on Sunday, you'll be hearing a sermon about "giving." This is an important and often 0verlooked area of our life in Christ.
