The new headband is dope. Remember dudes in my unit cutting the old headband to get the cable for helmet mounts.
“We took Silynx and ops core AMP and called it Peltor”
Looks like good stuff, however how much? Always looking to protect whats left of my rapidly diminishing hearing.
Are they going to offer them as hearing defenders (no mic option) for larpers?
Wow... I would have ear plugs and headphones on when on mission just incase we ran over a IED.
Can 3M Peltor be trusted again after thousands of troops lost their hearing due to product failure over so many years which cost the company in over $77 million dollars in lawsuits so far?
Definitely, yes. They're the best producers of tactical ear protection in the market full stop
Dude is WAY to in the weeds. What do these in ears do? Needs like 10 breaks to say "What this means to you is...." I have 2% understanding of the product.
These are geared towards professional end users who already have context for all these features. The dude who goes to the range three times a year isn't spending a grand plus on communications enabled hearing protection.
TL;DR This brings Comtac in line with the Opscore AMP system, but with some extra features they hope will set them apart.
“That’ll be six thousand dollars thank you”
Oh nice they must be running a sales.
At present the full setup is only $2694 USD
