  • A cathedral cat has gone viral after it interrupted the Dean of Canterbury’s virtual morning sermon.
Oblivious to the live broadcast, Leo the cat wandered under the Very Revd Dr Robert Willis’ robes.
Somehow the Dean of Canterbury managed to keep a straight face and carry on.
The cathedral uploaded the clip of Leo onto its Twitter feed.
A spokesperson from Canterbury Cathedral said that Leo the cat is “used to being on show and, having been born in the Deanery and growing up here, he is very used to company and is a very friendly and happy little cat.”
The Kent cathedral has been broadcasting daily online sermons since lockdown was introduced in March.
