We're the full size candy people!! My husband apparently dreamed about that since he was a kid (and LOVED those houses). This year I'm trying to be on top of things, and want to bake fruitcake at Thanksgiving. And plant bulbs in a few weeks. We'll see. I am one of those people with little ones running around. 2 and 3 year old girls!! Such a tough busy time but also trying to find balance and enjoy it. Hard to know what things to do now with them versus wait. Because they really don't even need that much. The wonderment in their eyes at the simplest things is such beauty!!
Especially with all of the talk of supply chain shortages - I headed off to Sam's Club the end of Sept and did my holiday shopping! I wrapped it all the next day! I also restocked my pantry (something I do EVERY fall! We've always prepared for the coming winter since I was a wee lassie!) I have a few food gifts that I intend to buy that I will wait to purchase until December. Otherwise - I'M DONE! whoo hoo!
I have 2 boys (4&7) and I already finished my Christmas shopping for them. I didn't wrap it yet but I do have clearance wrapping paper from last year so when I get the urge one day I will wrap it all. I also got our other immediate family we buy for their gifts also so we are good to go!
@@ashleywasham2809 I didn't get a ton as we typically don't because I notice when they get too much they don't play with it plus the 2 grandma's buy stuff. We got him a large hot wheels super mario rainbow road race track from walmart for 119.00..thats his big gift. And with that we got him a lot of the super mario hot wheels cars. He also has been asking for more drawing supplies since he goes through his like crazy, so I got a variety of colored pencils, crayons etc. And he does have a nintendo switch lite from grandma last year so we bought him the new hot wheels racing video game for the switch, and the new sonic colors video game for the switch. That's all he got from us. Not sure what his 2 grandma's will buy.. not sure if this will help or not! But I tried lol! My other son loves Roblox toys so he got some roblox action figures and stuff. It's tough since all kids like different things! 😬
I started Around Sept as well. I have a few packages I am waiting for to put together some gift baskets for extended family. I have a couple more things to get my girls (8 and 12). I want to get my husband something else. 2 of my nephews have birthdays in Nov and I have their gifts already as well!
Christmas is my busy season, so for the last several years, I get all of my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. This year I am DONE! Wrapped, tagged, and hidden away until Christmas! Considering all the issues this year, I’m so grateful I have trained myself to start shopping in June. Hoping you all find everything you’re looking for this year. Also, the Sam’s wrapping paper is my favorite. The giant roll lasts me 2 years and it’s double-sided.
Garlic infused olive oil is the MOST amazing!! Also good for anyone on a low FODMAP diet as it’ll not cause any gut inflammation 👌🏼👌🏼 LOVE when you guys do shop with me’s together 🥰 your videos are always something I look forward to. Thank you 🙏
I love my MM glass food storage containers. You don’t have to worry about staining or odors on the plastic. I also like you can microwave and put them in the oven.
Going to Sam's Club, I tend to spend a lot of money. I buy some of my father's clothes there. They are good quality without breaking the bank. And the danish or butter cookies remind me of my mother. She loved them and my parents would buy several tins every Christmas. Sadly, she is in a nursing home and will never be able to come home. I miss her every day.
What a fun morning out with your husband!! My husband hates shopping, but he's a great sport and usually comes along anyway!❤😉 Fun items, thanks for sharing!
My family and I love Sam's cheese manicotti. If we go before dinner time we will pick it up for a quick dinner that night so we don't have to think about cooking when we get home. We also love their pre made chicken salad as well for a quick lunch. We've got almost all our Christmas shopping done and wrapped. The only thing we have left is things we wait on till it's closer to Christmas like gift cards. My mom and I started Christmas shopping back in June/July. We always find it easier to continuously shop throughout the year. If we find something just pick it up, and the money you don't use on gifts at the end of the year you can use on other things.
I live in East Tennessee. Our local Sam's club is out of so much. Meat coolers were empty. They had beef, but it was expensive. The bread racks had nothing on them. The canned food area was bare. A lot of items were double and triple stacked just to make it look like they had stuff. The upper shelves were empty. Anything with tomatoes was gone. The dairy section was empty, just a few packages of eggs and a few gallons of milk. We are definitely in tough times. Glad I started prepping a few years ago, before all of this craziness. I also grow a garden and raise our own meat.
I was a little kid in the late 1980s and I remember being excited when the G Mills Halloween cereals would come out. I remember vaguely liking count chocula and my mom telling me that I didn't like the Frankenberry but none of our supermarkets in Boca ever carried the Boo-Berry so I could only imagine how wonderfully delicious it must have been because if the Frankenberry was okay and the count chocula was good then Boo-Berry must have been amazing right? Well jump forward to the year 2001 when I was living in my first college apt. During a late-night hunt for food at the local Walmart imagine my excitement when I passed the G Mills cereal display and saw that they had Boo-Berry! I literally bought the last three boxes and raced home. I pulled out the biggest Jeb Clampett sized bowl that I had and eagerly dove into the refrigerator for the cold milk. I think there was only one other time in my life that I was excited to try for the first time. Yeah that was a letdown as well. Aside from the milk having turned into cottage cheese I wasn't going to let that stop me so I went at it dry. I shoved a fistful of that stuff in my puss it started wolfing it down like the Cookie Monster period by the third or fourth fistful The Taste started registering. I believe that every good soul is born with a guardian angel watching over them but for some reason I must have pissed mine off. He was watching over me my entire life up until that point protecting me from the sugary wickedness known as blueberry. The old saying goes that you can never go home and so I have become very hesitant to ever try any of the old things that I used to love as a kid. What if I have my first Yoo-hoo in 30 years find out that my happy childhood was all a freakin lie? Besides do they make Yoo-hoo in diet?
Seeing the sweet customs and all the Christmas gifts hurts my momma heart a little, my man children are all grown up and as much as I'm loving this new season of life with them, I do miss when they were littles and would get so excited for the holidays. But I'm going to Sam's today to get the plastic containers that I think you grabbed, such a good deal.
I too love the sams scan and go! I took my husband this weekend no he was amazed by it!! Definitely beats standing in line and unloading/loading your cart!!
Kimmy you & Derick are a darling couple! I enjoy your shopping trips together. Great finds on the clothes. I also enjoy you & your friends holiday shopping adventure each year. Tootles.
Fruit cake no Candy corn yes That jerky sounds yummy, I love jalapeños 😋 Every time I try to get a butter cookie at my aunt house, there’s a sewing kit in it. 😂
We LOVE the Boom chica pop sweet n salty. I have been obsessed with glass food storage lately so Im super happy to see they have plenty. Also excited to see flip top storage containers!
Crab ragoons (cream cheese, green onions, can of crab meat, and you can put a little ground ginger in it or leave it out) put in a wrap and fry it. - done (we make them all the time) God bless :)
Love the glass containers, but the only downside is that they are heavy. My husband takes them in his lunch bag. He has to pack it up several flights of ladder stairs. But you can clean them,no pitting, no staining or any of that like the plastic stuff gets. A win for me. I drop them all the time. Never break. If you send stuff home with people you might not get them back.
When we were kids only place in my hometown that gave out full sized chocolate bars was the funeral home! Kids would be wrapped around the building lol
I used to make crab rangoon...2 8oz cream cheese 2 cans of lump style crab meat for seasoning 1- 2 TBSP each of Accent & season all to taste then wrap them in won ton wrappers ( shows on th back) how to wrap them then you could deep fry them or air dry or bake them. But you could add what ever else to them. I use to add a splash of the crab juice too. Everyone loved them. I tried to freeze a few once to see how they would do after cooking them....but they didn't last past a day or two before I went back in for them lol.
I bought the glass snap-ware. Loved them so much I went back and got another box. I replaced all my plastic ones. What I love most is that you don’t have the phantom smells that soak into the plastic AND… the acidic foods don’t pit the sides and bottoms of the container. They don’t stain. There are many reasons to love them. ❤❤❤
I make homemade cranberry sauce with honey. My family loves it, and asks me for a jar ( I make a large batch once a year and can it) to compliment their turkey dinner.
Morning Kimmy! The shop with me was great 😊. It’s definitely helpful to you that you got a jump start on the Christmas shopping ☺️. Seems like this time of year rolls around sooner every year 😂. Have a wonderful Sunday! 🛒🎄😁
I love the quality of the Hallmark wrapping paper. I saw this video this morning then went to Sams for the wrapping paper and more Christmas shopping at Sams. I only need gift cards, finish wrapping, do my cards, ship a box off back East, then I’m done! The supply chain issues are why I’m doing this super early. Wohoo!
We do pajamas and sometimes es slippers too we bought daughters pjs on after Christmas clearance and the boys were from last year. We bought the wrong size for my son last year. So it will fit him this year. My husband had a pair he never opened. So I willregift them to him.
I’ve got almost all of my Christmas shopping done, there have been quite a few supply issues here already and I would rather be organised in advance than worrying :) even got the Christmas pjs done lol
With so many kids (and now “so’s”) we have to buy all year long. I try to choose a theme so I can buy for that. This year it’s: reusable items. So shopping bags, chargeable batteries, and that kind of thing. I also buy gag gifts for the adults. So in their stocking they’ll get themed underwear with matching socks. They are hysterical. I use plastic sparingly and here’s why. When you warm something up or store a tomato item, it stains the plastic even with a bleach. I also like the glass for various sizes. However, it is heavy and less portable. I am ordering online this week and will have the gifts completed. Gone are the days of leisurely mall shopping for Christmas and such. That and dragging out the remaking crew is a recipe for “can I have’s….” I’m a “no” mom so it makes for a grumpy afternoon. Lol. Love shopping with hubs. It makes for a oddly fun date!
I am so with you on the fruit breads. Yuck! 😜 We are getting a head start on Christmas shopping as well and bulking up our extended pantry. Just seems like there are a lot of unknowns with the supply chain.
This video is making me go out and check out sams club and get a membership.😊 i really dont care if gifts or anything get shortages on. As long as we are together and happy then that is all that matters❤👪
I love how you show us your complete haul when you get home and tell a few things you’re going to use them for! Love Sams, was just there yesterday. No Costco around us. Thanks for sharing your haul!!
I love the Sam's club wrapping paper, not the pack with 4 in it, but the single huge rolls! They even have a grid on the back to help you cut it straight. It's really nice quality paper.
Coffee and Kimmy, it must be Sunday morning 💕 So excited for this video!! It is finally feeling like fall in Ohio and I am soooooo excited for all the holiday things!! Have a lovely week, Kimmy and family!
My little kids (7&5) think that all they have to do is close their eyes and “wish” for what they want for Christmas and that’s how Santa knows what they want. So I constantly am listening for one of them to close their eyes and say “I wish for that *insert toy*” And then I make a list on my phone 😂
Love love love my mm glass food storage containers. I’ve had them for 3-4 years and they’ve held up so well! My husband is a total small kitchen appliance nerd too.
Just found your channel. Love watching it. We live in New Zealand and don't have the shops you do. Love looking at what is available to you. Would love to come visit your country just to go to the supermarkets 😊
Love Shopping dates with my husband too 💝 Awesome that you guys found the pajamas and slippers in 1 place. We do pajamas on Christmas Eve too. We celebrate Noche Buena (Christmas in Mexico, Christmas Eve in USA) so we do PJs and snack boxes, or a movie/popcorn etc and have our traditional Mexican Christmas foods. Then on Christmas we celebrate American Christmas traditions with my side of the family.
I use the Panettone fruit cake in a White Chocolate and dried Cranberries Bread Pudding. So yummy ❤ Roasted Garlic Olive Oil, yes amazing! Great to pan frying meats ❤
Heading to Sam’s Club tomorrow! I’m super excited to check out their holiday deals! From seeing your hall I definitely need to keep my eyes peeled for certain items you showed. Thank you so much for the great video! PS I love that sweater!
I love Sam's wapping paper. You can get the big rolls and double sided sometimes. I actually bought a pretty Christmas gift for my daughter. It was a lighted tin camper for her mantle.
Kimmy that sweatshirt looked so good on you! Can’t wait to hear what you think of the crab Rangoon; we love them too but I don’t want to risk buying a huge box 😬.
My Sister always buys her wrapping paper at Sam's. She buys the large roll and it lasts a couple years and she wraps a lot. It's nice and thick. She also buys the large tin of butter cookies every year. We enjoy them with our coffee and hot chocolate.
I tried the Flippz at Sam's...they tasted good. I LOVE the glass food storage. That plastic warehouse set you got was $14.98 in September. That's usually a good deal when the college kids are going back to school.
I'm in Canada and those prices are so cheap, I want to cry. Butter on sale here is $3.99. Anyway, I'm off to Costco to do some stocking up and maybe an early start to xmas.😄
The double sided wrapping paper at Sam's Club is the only paper I buy. It is nice and thick and I get twice the number design of options. They have a TON of paper on them. I buy 1 new roll every year. I am still using through the first roll I bought about 5 years ago!
If you want to try the buttery steakhouse seasoning, definitely check walmart. It's way cheaper. I also didn't love it and was glad I didn't waste so much.
Omg we are going fist of November for Christmas shopping and the winter stock up. Thank you for the video and being so positive and all your hints and tricks. Do you have a 🥶 freezer inventory tricks I feel like sometimes things get pushed in the back the freezer and they die for years.
That was fun to watch.. Makes me wanna run out and head to Sam's club.. Great deals and varieties! Thanks for sharing and keep these videos coming! By the way you look amazing Kimmy.. What's your secret to your weight loss..?
I'm loving that Christmas stuff is starting to come out now!! I'm ready! I bought some red Ho Ho Ho dish towels today. First 2021 Christmas purchase! 😆😎 Stores are packed too, great to see!
I am not cooking for thanksgiving this year or christmas. I was thinking christmas doing just snacks or veggie snacks because we normally go out christmas night and eat with family at my husbands brothers house.
I went to my Sams club Saturday and chicken definitely Not .92 cent a lb. what a great deal! And we had a limit of 2 per membership. Lots of limits in store. On water, gaterade, paper towels and tissue. Get things while you can
What are you seeing at Sam's right now that you're liking and that I should check out?
Buy the pumpkin spice flipz. They are amazing
The glass Tupperware are Amazing. I have dropped a few and have not broken yet. They are pretty strong
Love sams wrapping paper it’s good quality paper
I like the wrapping paper at Sam's Club. It lasts forever!!!

Then on Christmas we celebrate American Christmas traditions with my side of the family.
This was such a great video! It makes me want to get out and get started on Christmas shopping.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and all the Sam's Clubs in our state were closed years ago!! I miss it...that seasoning isle is to die for!
In a lot of Wisconsin, too! I likeCostco, but miss Sam's!!
Happy Sunday! I love that sweater! so cute! great video as always
I make my own fruitcake, so it's to my liking, especially if you like dried fruit like cherries, pineapple and apricot!
I love candy corn, mixed with salted peanuts. Reminds me of a fall Payday.
I love Sam's wapping paper. You can get the big rolls and double sided sometimes. I actually bought a pretty Christmas gift for my daughter. It was a lighted tin camper for her mantle.
That’s a great deal for Isotoners!! They’re usually double that
PS I want that sweater!!!!
We love the glass containers.
I like buying the big packs of containers because I bake a lot as gifts. I may need to look into that big tub!
Love to see you shopping with hubby, he seems laidback and fun to shop with.
Lovely shopping! Really nice to see how exited you are for christmas. Really enjoyed your video.
Glad you enjoyed!
I am really enjoying the salted caramel flipz at the moment cant get enough of them ...
I love candy corn; The Claxton Fruit Cake is really good!Benson's Fruit Cake is really goid also! Both made in Ga.
Kimmy that sweatshirt looked so good on you! Can’t wait to hear what you think of the crab Rangoon; we love them too but I don’t want to risk buying a huge box 😬.
Im so glad Kimmy found the Crab Rangoon. I love it! I've been looking for them at stores here Cincinnati OH. I'm heading to Sam's now to pick some up.
Those Italian pastry cookies are TO. DIE. FOR! Thanks for sharing!
My Sister always buys her wrapping paper at Sam's. She buys the large roll and it lasts a couple years and she wraps a lot. It's nice and thick. She also buys the large tin of butter cookies every year. We enjoy them with our coffee and hot chocolate.
Just bought the kids and hubby new down coats. Love Sam's. However our Sam's doesn't have any Christmas items in yet.
Coffee ☕ on deck.
Happy Sunday Morning to All. 😊
As my kids grew older….I became more sad around the holidays. I miss the time when Halloween and Christmas were big to dos.
I tried the Flippz at Sam's...they tasted good. I LOVE the glass food storage. That plastic warehouse set you got was $14.98 in September. That's usually a good deal when the college kids are going back to school.
You're smart in picking up holiday food and gift items. Who knows whether stores will be stocked. Beter safe than sorry.
Ok...a few pieces of candy corn thrown in some buttery/ salty popcorn.. AMAZING!!
#THE ONLY WAY TO EAT CANDY CORN
I love how supportive Deric is with your fashion choices ❤️
I need a man who tells me to get all 😂
Love the videos especially now reminding me to get ready for the winter.
I love love love garlic infused olive oil!!! I use it for browning meats!
I'm going to have to try it.
If you want to try the buttery steakhouse seasoning, definitely check walmart. It's way cheaper. I also didn't love it and was glad I didn't waste so much.
Happy Sunday!
Walmart has a microwave that has a air fryer in it, I didn’t know they made such a thing till one of my friends got one.
There is also a newish oven that has an air fryer built in. 😄😁 saw that the other day. Pretty neat
@@sarsar5099 oh ok
Omg we are going fist of November for Christmas shopping and the winter stock up. Thank you for the video and being so positive and all your hints and tricks. Do you have a 🥶 freezer inventory tricks I feel like sometimes things get pushed in the back the freezer and they die for years.
Aww I miss the old school video games. I am definitely feeling Christmas too
O my that is a fantastic feature! Way to go Sams!
That was fun to watch.. Makes me wanna run out and head to Sam's club.. Great deals and varieties! Thanks for sharing and keep these videos coming! By the way you look amazing Kimmy.. What's your secret to your weight loss..?
Loved this video!! We don’t have a Costco anywhere remotely close so we are Sam’s club lovers! (Sam’s is a 30 min drive from us lol)
Great video. I am always surprised what great things you have in the supermarket. I'm from germany.
I'm loving that Christmas stuff is starting to come out now!! I'm ready!
I bought some red Ho Ho Ho dish towels today. First 2021 Christmas purchase! 😆😎
Stores are packed too, great to see!
Love the scan and go, it's the best. The TWIX SHAKER TOPPING is just so-so not really strong but good on icecream
I am not cooking for thanksgiving this year or christmas. I was thinking christmas doing just snacks or veggie snacks because we normally go out christmas night and eat with family at my husbands brothers house.
I prefer glass storage containers. They don't stain and are easy to clean. The ones I have are dishwasher, oven, freezer, microwave, etc safe.
hehehe "can I have one in every colour?".."sure"
I went to my Sams club Saturday and chicken definitely Not .92 cent a lb. what a great deal! And we had a limit of 2 per membership. Lots of limits in store. On water, gaterade, paper towels and tissue. Get things while you can
I’m so glad you got both the light colored and the green sweaters they looked so good on you 🤗
Use the panetonne for bread pudding or French Toast
I loved seeing you on the Live Denise hosted ("This and That with Denise Jordan"). You are so down to earth.🧡💛🤎
Thank you Wendy
