You not getting check engine light because, the leakage is happing after the sensors which has already measured and communicate through the CAN system the amount of flow, however the leakage seems not to affect combustion I may think but the noise it creates is worrying else the exhaust gas sensor would have detect if incomplete combustion coming out of the cylinders. Drop a like if you're cool with this explanation and share.
@@FSS417 Yes, you're partly correct, but that's why there's a downstream sensor (O2) that also communicate the computer where the computer would ignite a (cel) check engine light acknowledging incorrect air mixture. I also agree with your explanation, thanks man
Awesome you explained exactly what is going on with my vehicle thanks
Glad it helped.
Having same issue and I almost changed my tires. But I noticed intake manifold is broken. Thanks for this info.
Great to hear that, very glad it helped.
They need to make this a recall because it seems that many of these cars is having this issue
👍❤️
True mine is same issue
I believe that your engine has performed much better due to that duct leakage because now you are getting the full boost power from the turbo
You're right bro, and "fuel efficiency is super now" that's what the owner is also saying.
👍
So why you didn't get a code, like a check engine light?
