Diehard Texans fan since day one. At this point, I'll say it. They look like a good team at this point but not a great one. No doubt we can get there, a lot of season left and a lot to work on.

Kings of shit mountain (AFCS). Going to be tough to beat a top team in the playoffs on the road 🤞

As another diehard fan, we look like a good team that can get hot at the right time. Super Bowl teams don’t always play the season good. Some times every thing clicks at the right time and I think this what we have on our hands. We could explode, fold, or hold. But we are just a good team and I’ll take that over the past prior years🤘🏾

They will be fine and only get better.
We had Mixon and Tank out.
The muffed punt was just a crazy bad start which we fought back from and won.
Jags were a desperate team that needed to beat us but they didn't.
We were coming off of a bad lose to the Vikings who are beating everyone right now.
and we still have guys like Denico Autry and Christian Harris who haven't seen the field yet but when they do our defense will be every more dominant than it already has been.

Must address the penalties. The penalties cannot happen during the Bills game and all weapons must be used. Oline is still the problem.

I went back and watched the lateral/pass play to Diggs. If you think it was designed to be a pass you’re wrong. It was designed to be a run. Stover was wide open in the middle of the field but he wasn’t there because he’s a designated receiver, he was there setup to block. The defense over pursued and when Diggs took off only the trailing defender took off to tackle Diggs. This defender was easily blocked by Stover. Result, great execution, great design.

the Texans are 3-1 which a lot of other good teams can't say. I could care less how the games have played out as long as they keep winning I am happy.

By far, I mean by far this is the best analysis of games for the sole reason that its calm dialect. Everybody else over hypes the situation and it is totally unnecessary. Very appreciative from a listener's perspective.

Pedantic nitpick - Brandon Scherff was not a "top 5 pick as a guard". When he was taken the brass (ostensibly Scot McCloughan, but it's widely believed that Bruce Allen was still calling the shots) was very clear that they viewed Scherff as a tackle, but that IF he couldn't be a tackle, he would make a heckuva guard. But the red flags that he was going to be a guard were substantial. Short-armed and slow-footed in pass pro (though he moved well going forward).
Then they got him in rookie mini-camp, and Jay Gruden tried him out at tackle. I can't remember whether the story was that he lasted two snaps, two series, or two practices at tackle. It was two-something. Gruden and everyone immediately recognized that this was a guard. Period. And to be fair, he was a really good guard with Washington. It's just...he was massively overdrafted and overpaid. There's no guard dominant enough to justify that kind of draft capital. Especially when an excellent DL was on the board at the time in Leonard Williams, which at the time was a bigger need.
My point, along with giving you a comment to help with the algorithm, is the Washington front office was stupid.

I agree with everything you've said, except I will nitpick that there are some guards who do seem to be worthy of the pick, but those guys aren't really reliable as far as scouting goes. The Zach Martin's and Quentin Nelson's of the world do provide as much value to their lines as elite tackles, if not more. (Some interesting analysis from PFF there)
Of course, finding a good enough guard is still easily doable, while finding a good enough tackle absolutely isn't. But there's actually an interesting case to be made that over the last five years or so, the elite guards of a given year outperform the elite tackles [more oppurtunities to provide positives in the rungame]. With the exception of Trent Williams of course. But he's probably the biggest outlier at any position in the NFL right now, as far as the gap between him and the second best tackle.

I agree (ima Texans fan) but . We also could’ve blown yall out had we not muffed a punt and missed Nico Collins in the end zone twice as well … so , tomato tomattow.
