Cfmoto zforce 800ex vs Cfmoto zforce 950 sport.

I fixed roof rattle with a couple of pieces of rubber hose between the roof and roll bars.
Been there. We ended up with a rag so it stopped the roof rattling and cleans the windshield lol
If you tap the gas pedal again going down hill, the engine breaking kicks in again. I got the 500 and I noticed it to. I just keep tapping the pedal for the engine breaking to work correctly
A small piece of stick on foam weather stripping will fix that roof rattle.
You have to keep motor at a light throttle for the engine brake engaged, if it drops to full idle the clutch well disengage , all cv clutch systems work that way
That’s not true at all. I’ve never had that happen to me on any brand. You saw how the 800 handles it
One thing I would mention about the 800ex and I assume the trail would have this same issue, but not sure. A good deal of heat comes through around your feet. Into nice in the winter but can make summer driving a little uncomfortable.
Do you feel fatigue in your right foot after long rides on the 800? It's like the accelerator is just at an odd angle or something.
We’re comfortable in ours but maybe try adjusting the seat position. The foot well is a bit cramped on these
You are incorrect about the engine brake. You must show the computer some throttle input, so all you have to do is tap the throttle and it will re-engage. You should always be in control of your vehicle anyway so the fact that your buddy crashed is due to his negligence, not the machines failure. Other than that good video.
We’re aware of the throttle trick to get the pulley to re engage the belt but the point is that it should not disengage in the first place. I think I proved that they are capable of providing an amazing and user friendly low speed engine brake but for whatever reasons didn’t incorporate it into all their models.

You better off without engine breaking especially if you're on ice. Had mine spin me out in a circle doing 80 km on a road and a few times on the lake. If you let go of the throttle too fast on ice the back wheels will start to drag causing you to spin out.
I keep breaking front CV Axles, steering knuckles, tie rods and ball joints on my 2020 ZForce 800EX.
Maybe one day the aftermarket will take our machines seriously
Sounds like you're pushing it too hard They all have their breaking point and mud holes break them fast. We all have cfmoto and when something breaks 9 times out of 10 it's our fault.
Bigger or heavier more aggressive tires don't help the cv...

I think for engine brake you need to have throttle input for engine brake to engage
Yes but I don’t think you should have to. It stayed engaged and worked great on previous models without any extra driver input.
You have a dry clutch is why they dont stay engaged like the older wet clutches did@CameronsonCamera
