- Abi, who was born blind in India, and adopted at age 3 1/2, joins up with her Best Buddies group for a fun walk on our local trail, and for some hot coffee/cocoa and cookies for breakfast!

@@SixBlindKids Did you have a min panic attack? I know if my daughter is not right where I can see her I panic even if she is right behind me. I love all your children. They are so sweet and loving and smart and just wonderful. You and your husband are beyond amazing and such wonderful people who gave these kids a loving home and a loving family and you guys are raising them to become amazing adults :)

They could certainly cover a lot of bases with our family AND bring awareness to the need for employment as we transition everyone over the next several years. Abi’s personality just *blooms* in this video. She is so sweet and kind and has such an open heart. Watching her with her dad and her friends is a PRIVILEGE. She was having a blast! And it is beautiful to watch her so engaged with her surroundings and so excited to experience life. 🙏💛✨

Joe is the best dad ever it's so awesome that he takes each of the kids out and spends time with them. I would love to have a man as good as him. You both are the best I can't stop watching your videos. I have really changed the way I look at people with disabilities because of you guys thank you for that
Seeing this restores my faith in humanity! What a brilliant program, which I guess flows into schools having a wonderful sense of inclusion. I also love that all of your kids get some one on one time with dad (and I’m sure Mum too!) Abi has such good manners... You guys are AMAZING parents.

Funny story...Evan rides or rode Jesse's bus. Almost everyday, her beloved bus driver would have a new question for mom from Evan! Kinda like you guys here on YT...LOL! He likes facts. Lots and lots of little facts due to very high functioning autism. When Joe went to the event, he knew nothing about Evan (it was a mixer with the 2 schools). Needless to say, he was blown away! We HAD to leave him in the video! He is an amazing kid and a funny side note to our life! Evan is always welcome to participate in our videos anytime he wants to..😉😄❤❤❤ (Joe says he found them while Chris was filming Jesse!)
I would love to be apart of something like this. You guys inspire me to be a better person. I think all of us always have room to do a little better. Keep the love flowing❤
Kayla, I believe there is a link to best buddies international. If you are in school, you can ask your principal to get a club started or sign up to be a buddy if they already have one. As an adult, there are ways you can be involved as well, through your local school system. Thank you for your interest in being a friend! There are lots of other ways, too! 😉😄💕💕💕

I used to be in Best Buddies at my high school ever since the program started because my high school didn’t have a best buddies program until my sophomore year of High School but I did the program until I graduated from high school in 2017. I hope she has a wonderful buddy who cares about her.

I can't imagine what life would have been for all the kids without Mom and Dad. I mean I know you consider them as the blessings in your lives, but because of you, they had a chance to a stable life where they are truly loved.
I love this program, they have it at our school and my daughter is a best buddy. I love watching them play games together and bake cookies and stuff. These kids really do make a big difference.
I love how the best buddies keep them walking and encouraged. Such sweet friends and good exercise! Fresh air. Even the bike riders were so nice going around the walkers. Fun, fun, fun, thumbs up!

I need a group like this. I'm lonely and dont have any real friends but wouldn't have a clue where to find one. Guess its something to google! I would love to be a helper but I feel like I need a friend first. These kids are awesome and its lovely to see abby thriving in social situations! Also her speach is so much better now compared to this video, well done abby and well done mom and dad! Hard work pays off
