Kayak Trout Fishing at Shaver Lake, California in the Feelfree Dorado 125

When the valley temperatures hit 104 degrees and it is too hot to go Bass Fishing, you load up the kayak and head up into the mountains for some Trout Fishing. Join me as I take out the Feelfree Dorado 125 to Shaver Lake for some Trout Fishing. I will be using two setups, while trolling at approximately 2mph. The first is a Dipsey Diver on 15lb test with a SEPS flasher and a trout colored Spoon, which should be at around 30 feet deep. The second is a Cast Master on 15lb test, which should be at around 10 feet deep. Lets see which one gets the bite.

You did awesome wookie. I bought me a small downrigger just for that kind of fishing but with gas prices shaver is too far for me. Just the sound of those jetski`s scare me while im out kayaking. I was fishing the fresno side of millerton a awhile back and staying in the no wake zone and these idiots on jetskis were full bore from the docks out and back all day. they just dont follow the rules. STAY ALERT!!
