Great vid as always ! Hope these are available soon. Alexa can’t control my HA devices so this would be great,. IT would be slick to get Alexa to send to it so we could use Alexa Mic and Speakers to connect to ESPHome!
Out of stock for now unfortunately. And I also notice that IR blaster and sensors are not usable yet. I hope it would be available soon because it will help me combine at least 3 devices into 1 :)
how could you use this with timers in HA? Is it possible to have a dynamic timer entity or i have to manually make timers for all the times i need timed?
i have been having trouble getting the ESP32-s3-box3 kit. How hard do you think it would be to do this project with a SenseCAP D1 pro ? or the Waveshare ESP32-S3 4.3inch (which is incidently a lot less $) ??
Hello! I would like to ask what kind of hardware the voice commands run on locally, so that the response time is so fast? How powerful is your computer?
Puh! What a nice device. But 80$ for it. Thats hell a lot. Pity that never ever somebody has hacked an echodot or home-mini to install an own firmware. Cheapest source for hardware.
Remember doc you can give devices aliases that work for Voice commands so no need to rename just add an alias.
Great video DRzz, hope these are available soon!

Thanks DrZzs.
Sold out in both links!
Great show!!
So it looks like we can have “Jarvis” at home finally
Nice work, what firmware are you running? I got my S3 box yesterday, installed Firmware: 2024.4.2 via HA and the box is useless at the moment 😖

How is the microphone pickup from across a room. Is it comparable with echo devices ?
wondering this as well
Whoa!
This is cool
at $13 it is a great addition, however all the ones Ive found so far are $60 to $100 which is just too much
Hey doc
Can this do voice assistant + bluetooth proxy + mmwave sensor cause that'd be amazing for me
Nvm seems out of stock
Nope. voice OR proxy, not enough CPU there to do both. presence could be added to either.
@@DrZzsIt seems I might have vastly underestimated the amount of cpu/memory required for proxy haha. Thanks for the reply :)

maybe watch the actual voice release instead of complaining what they "don't" have.
@@MarianHangebraukThey're not wrong though, ewaste is a huge problem and it would be amazing if there was a way to easily repurpose those devices.
£45 though :O
