Hey Primal! Thanks for the video. I was thinking that maybe you could coat your Benchmade retention clip with some rubberized undercoating? You know like you might apply to rocker panels of a truck. I bet if you stopped by your local auto body shop, you might find someone who could hook you up with something. Happy New Year to you and the rest of the tribe.
BENCHMADE CLIP ISSUE. I've snipped the very bottom of the clip off, where the rubber coating was, heated up the clip and folded it under. It acts as a hook and when deploying the knife, the clip bites into my pants and deploys consistently.
If I carry a nice knife I like to carry a gerber eab light or a outdoor edge slide winder they take regular utility blade and they are both small enough to fit in the watch pocket on blue jeans
Spray a bit of bed liner on your knife holster.....I do it to all of mine (new ones included) that become loose over time and it works out great. Give me a shout out if it works for you!!

There's another user on UA-cam who removed the clip and on the other side of the sheath, the flat side, he used another clip that affixes with adhesive. He used the Nite ize Eclipse. This clip is discontinued and impossible to find. I'm looking.
My edc is a samsung galaxy s8 phone, tactical defense knife, for a flashlight i use torchy from the brand nebo really small snd 1000 lumens max, a 9 dollar wallet from just a store with like 59 bucks in it and sometimes adapter to hook up my phone to any tv/monitor and im 11 do i dont have keys or anything like that
A zesty bugout is the best bugout! I can confidently state that chicken soup will carry even the laziest cook through a long, cold edc season. Just get the right peppery bullion base and heat up your edc carry, perhaps a knife too ... and a flashlight.

Few thin wraps of hockey tape on the belt clip n your golden
You can try with heatshrink tube.
Remove the clip and spray it or paint it with bed liner to get that rubbery traction back.

That’s a cool set up for a young man of your age.
Take the clip off and bend it a bit more, and sand the inside with any 36 to 80 grit paper.
Dont know if anyone said it already but get a new clip from the mini socp they have remade the clip has a hook to it, call benchmade customer service
I had one with the new clip and still had issues when pulling it out of my jeans front pocket.
