Five years later, I am finally here! I just discovered them last month thanks to The First Take. First group I'm following after 15 years; first PH group I'm following EVER!
I've been hearing about them but I didn't pay attention. Even when I learned about MAPA and loved it, still I didn't pay attention. Since I'm older and these are the new generations, I thought it's nothing good and just shrugged my shoulders. Gento became a nuisance to me until I became curious: who the heck is this guy who has very deep voice? I've never heard of such deep voice until TOP of Bigbang. I thought it was just edited with new technology but I was shocked to find IT WASNT FAKE! Next thing I knew I've been watching all their video uploads on their YT accnt. These guys are legends! ❤❤❤

Part of it not being cringey is that they actually pronounce the words the normal colloquial way (sandali vs sandale, hard k vs the soft k popular in English-first-Filipino-second speakers, hard r vs rolling r). It's a small thing but it has a serious effect to the listener. Plus their vocals and dance skills are pretty damn solid! SHOW THAT FILIPINO TALENT

Part of it not being cringey is that they actually pronounce the words the normal colloquial way (sandali vs sandale, hard k vs the soft k popular in English-first-Filipino-second speakers, hard r vs rolling r).
