Does this really need Aspire? How would you do it in VCarve? I don't see anything in the NEMA spec that requires the ramp, so even leaving the rectangular solid would seem to be all right.
You could certainly do this in VCarve without the 3D ridge in the center. I put it in for three reasons. 1. Since there is a countersunk hole there, and a screw tightening into the piece in that spot, I wanted to add some extra strength. 2. The wall plates in my house all had some kind of ridge there, and I wanted to mimic as many of their features as I could. 3. I don't plan on making too many instructional tutorials like this, and I thought the more modeling concepts and information I could cram in there, the better. :)

the crest in the center does not come out what am I doing wrong? when running all the trajectories it does not come out...
