@mgk920 Dr. Hollywood, it's from UA-cam audioswap (the only way my videos with audio aren't blocked in certain countries).

That's a good looking freeway, reminds be a bit of I-95 in Delaware (The JFK Section), thumbs up!

@aswchris Just curious, where the original soundtrack played while driving is coming from, radio in the car maybe? The reason I'm asking is that I've never had any issues with the songs played during my driving videos, all songs played on my XM sat radio, yes, I'm always getting a message "View Copyright Info", who owns that song, etc. but then "No action is required on your part. Your video is still available worldwide. In some cases ads may appear next to your video." That's it.

@FreewayBrent The Netherlands is one of the most densely populated countries in the world, similar to New Jersey, which means the traffic volumes, even in rural areas, are very high. The original plans for this freeway was to widen it from 4 to 6 lanes, but they found out 6 lanes wouldn't do in the long term, so they decided to make it 8 lanes immediately, so it will remain free-flowing for the coming decades. Personally, I don't think the predicted volume of 170k vehicles will be reached by2020

Was the 150,000 minimum AADT prediction breached yet or not quite?

@wimpie25 Here in North America we have a motto: "The bigger, the better!" It has nothing to do with the amount of people that live in one area, it's just the american way, the bigger, the better, that's it. CN Tower in Toronto, do I have to say more, Sears Tower in Chicago, of course WTC in NYC until 9/11, Empire State Bldg or Chrysler Bldg same in NYC, and about our 401 around Toronto, up to 18 lanes both ways, it was built 30-50 years ago when cars and trucks were 1/4 of what's today.

@flyerholland Railroads are good but cant replace the convenience of a car if you live 60 km away from your workplace, public transit? good as well, but is just for within the city, for people that live in the city, and here not everybody lives close to a subway or bus station. On top of that CDA and USA have a super developed road infrastarcture, USA everywhere (been everywhere except Alaska and Hawaii) and in CDA everywhere up to 200 km north of the US border. About 1.5 cars/person over here.

You're mistaken, the low countries have the highest population density on a national level in the whole world.
Toronto Canada might be densily populated but so is for example Brooklyn New York. Those places however are not countries and thus their population density is not representative for an entire country. The densities in countries such as the Netherlands or Belgium are in fact nation wide averages. I believe that the national avarage for Canada is measured as km²/people.

I guess the Netherlands is now trying to be more like the U.S., with wide freeways, huh? :-P In all seriousness, that's a really nice, spacious freeway. Does the Netherlands have a long-term plan to widen many of their busiest freeways to at least 8 lanes?

Just curious, what's the artist/title on the tune?
I love these diving clips, too, they make the area somehow 'familiar' to me in ways that can otherwise only come by being there in person.

I have no anti American sentiments what so ever, I was just commenting on the direction America has been going to in the past 30 years.
I've met alot of good people here, because of our common interests and I've had quite some constructive communications with them.
You on the other hand, seem to be a great supporter of the following; "In America, everything is bigger, bigger is better, so America is the best in everything". I'm not a fan of that so excuse if I was being rude.

Out of respect for the good Americans within this field of interest, I will not continue this discussion. But also because I do not talk to people who call other people Nazi's, just because they don't agree with what America did during the war.

@aswchris "The Netherlands is one of the most densely populated countries in the world, similar to New Jersey" Are you sure? I kindly and friendly invite you to Toronto, Canada to drive the busiest highway in entire North America and maybe in the entire word, 6-9 lanes/direction, up to 18 lanes/both ways and still traffic jamms like crazy, we have about 12 hwys around Toronto and still not enough!
    /watch?v=AYgxGBgjbPc
And then compare it with I-95 around Miami:

@wimpie25 Anybody in EU who is NOT anti-american???
I was commenting on the video, purely traffic, and you had to bring the anti-America sentiment in here, WHY???
If you enjoy your freedoms of today thank an American, Canadian and Brit WW2 veteran for liberating your country from the german boots, ok?

@wimpie25 "And we already had our own freedoms before WWII. The Americans that came to "liberate" Europ had no respect for it's historical wealth whatsoever, something the Germans did have."
So you're a NAZI guy, ARIAN race I guess, good to know !

Bigger is definitively not always better. You might have big roads, tall towers but the quality of you roadnetwork is horrible and so is the quality of your society.
Being proud of America is not forbidden but is useless if you see what is has become in the past 30 years.
Besides, in the past 30 years cars only got smaller.
And again, you speak of a highly developped roadnetwork? Did you ever take the effort to check out the European one? The densest road network in the world...
