Not a good OTA imo. This change to Hela almost does nothing. Marvel boy nerf wasn't needed. Kraven slight buff probably does very little considering the other move cards still likely scale better. War Machine nerf was probably warranted. Clog is the primary issue with the game right now and I'd expect it to continue to dominate.
If you look at how Hela is played, it now means that unless you discard or play Luke Cage, there is a significant decrease in points on the board. The impact is subtle because it increases the RNG aspect of Hela decks, which is an impactful nerf without deleting the deck. It's important that a cheap competitive deck like Hela is not eliminated so that newbies can make the bridge from pool 3 to higher levels of competitive play.
To me it felt as if they didn't release any OTA today, one point here, one point there, it doesn't change the game that much, maybe more Symbiote Spider-Man-Galactus stuff but that's still a maybe.
Wish they just left popular cards alone, I don't care for nerfs unless the deck is an actual problem. Hela is not. Plus this was just a buff if you run Cage which is needed crutch now but it's really not a bother.
Just change Hela so she only brings back 2 cards when played (one each in the other lanes that Hela wasnt played in). It lowers her ceiling but she can still drop s lot of power if those 2 cards are Magneto and Infinaut plus its a bit more consistent as at least now its a 50/50 youll get a specific amount of power in a specific lane.
No that would make her very powerful. The randomness is precisely why her win rate is just 50/50. But with this she could hit above that 50%. The amount of times Hela would of won for me if it was guaranteed the cards won't land where I put her is a lot.
I disagree that Hela got buffed, now it straight up dies to an ongoing hate card like rogue or red guardian. I agree that they shouldn't have given her the extra 1 power though

The average deck has no counters to Hela. The Hell Cow change simply made a skill less deck even easier and safer. To stop her you either have to predict cosmo, or guess with Alioth, it sucks. Both are not probable and really only work if you have Jean Grey (my favorite card) Hela is always dog to play against and Luke Cage just makes this a buff. Decks that take no skill and simply spin the roulette wheel should never be meta or anywhere near top tier.

I hate that they didn't touch clog at all. They could have adjusted some of the energy cost of clog because they're usually clogging you on turn four
This OTA feels so out of touch by the devs. With Pokemon pocket right around the corner I just don’t get it.
