That might not even be everyone Is Chastain better than any of these guys?? He's one of the better drivers in out sport today. The talent pool on the driver side is so greatly diminished these days it's really not even Comparable.
Bubba Wallace needs to be seriously considered for a deep playoff run this year. The way he was driving by the second half of this last season has me sold. He cleaned up mistakes, he showed real improvement on tracks all across the board, and most of all, he raced hard and raced to win every single Sunday. That's championship caliber attitude. He was a 16th seed last year with a genuine shot at the round of 8 by the elimination round at the Roval; and he was driving great at the Roval until he was caught in someone else's mistake!
Tbh ricky stenhouse not being on here is interesting. He showed great consistency outside his daytona 500 win, with being in the top 15 for most of the regular season.
Front Row Motorsports will be a interesting team this year and the disrespect is getting old and pathetic at this point, the short track program has gotten better and has one of the best road course programs in all of nascar.
Truex is such a hard one to judge. One year he’s a contender, then he’s okay, then he’s great, then he doesn’t even make it, then he looks like the favorite
I agree with this list. My only predictions are that Briscoe will be back, Wallace will win a couple times and the boldest of all: Harrison Burton will get a win. It may be a plate race, but he gets one.

Hot take: I think Briscoe is gonna have a decent year maybe similar to 2022. I think he’s actually a pretty capable driver, and while SHR is not gonna give him the equipment, I could see him sneaking a win somewhere like Phoenix.
Minus Berry, I think the other 3 need to run better than they did last season for me to have any faith in the team anymore. I feel like after the first 10 races we should know where they are.
No mention of Cindric? He's proven himself on superspeedways. He was one of the best on road courses (last year was a struggle but hopefully the new Ford helps). He needs to run better on ovals for sure, but the potential is within reach
I think your list is pretty solid, honestly. I don't know what it is, but I just have a feeling there will be a SHR driver that wins their way into the playoffs. If Ford's new Mustang Dark Horse hits the ground running performance-wise (pun intended) then I think we could very well see them competing for wins again as the season goes on.
I see Kyle Larson, Blaney, MTJ, Kyle Busch, Christopher Bell, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, William Byron, and Alex Bowman making it next year. Those are solid drivers that are a lock for the playoffs next year.
Personally feel like Elliott had the most impressive season of his career outside of the wins column, was able to be the first driver not in the playoffs with 7 missed races and the 5th best average finish out of the full time drivers, 7th if you include pastrana and SVG. And that average finish was also dragged down by a tire going down at Michigan and running out of fuel at Watkins Glen, along with that embarrassing moment at Charlotte. Had they not had playoffs he would have ended up with a 15th place points finish with 7 less races worth of points than the other full time drivers
I do think your 10 guys is correct. The next 4 i say Truex, Tyler Reddick, Brad Keselowski, and Ty Gibbs are the most likely of the rest of the field. As for the last 2 spots i agree on Bubba Wallace but I'm iffy on Bowman. Some dark horses i say Mcdowall, Austin Dillion, Rric Jones, and Stenhouse. Remember Stenhouse won the Daytona 500 but until closer to the playoffs was running well enough to get in on points
Yeah maybe in 2025 but I have a feeling with Legacy just having their stuff together with chevy at the end of 2023 then restarting with toyota its gonna bring down their speed a lot and its gonna take some time to adjust so I would give them maybe another year because Legacy also seems to not have the best behind the scenes employees either.
I really hope McDowell gets even better and joins the list of those who are able to likely make it. He still has a lot of talent that his car is slowly catching up to.

I agree with you on everything but the 99 is replacing Alex b here because the 99 is growing as a driver and getting better finishes but is over shadowed by stars in the Motorsport
You had the opportunity of doing the funniest thing of all time if you repeated what you did last year and forgot about Byron until a hastily recorded addendum at the end of the video.
denny hamlin, ross chastain, joey logano, kyle busch, william byron, kyle larson, chase elliott, christopher bell, tyler reddick, ryan blaney, chris buescher, micheal mcdowell, corey lajoie, brad keselowski, ty gibbs, and erik jones are my playoff predictions
My prediction is that we get 16 different winners exactly and 2 guys who we would think make playoffs usually wont because of surprise winners. I think those 2 missing will be Truex jr and Blaney. I think they go winless in first 26 races, miss playoffs then each win a race in playoffs. Surprise winners are the dega lottery basically
My picks for the playoffs in 2024 * William Byron * Christopher Bell * Tyler Reddick * Alex Bowman * Brad Keselowski * Chase Briscoe * Joey Logano * Denny Hamlin * Kyle Larson * Kyle Busch * Martin Truex Jr * Daniel Suarez * Chris Buescher * Austin Cindric * Josh Berry * Ryan Blaney All make it in by wins. Chastain has awful luck, as does Bubba. Elliott and Gibbs are consistent but fail to score wins.
Bubba and chastain will probably make it in on points if either of them dont win and austin cindric making it in is a 50/50 but josh berry is very unlikely considering SHR is a burning mess
This is Hamlins year for Toyota because he has a lot of family support to win the title this year and plenty of past performances to build off of. This is Byron’s year for Chevy because he reminds me of Jimmie Johnson finishing good but no Championship his first few seasons. This is so Loganos year for Ford, um it’s an even year. The rest of the field will not beat my manufacturer favorites for the championship.
Playoff Predictions: 1. #1 Ross Chastain 2. #5 Kyle Larson 3. #6 Brad Keselowski 4. #8 Kyle Busch 5. #9 Chase Elliott 6. #11 Denny Hamlin 7. #12 Ryan Blaney 8. #17 Chris(topher) Buescher 9. #19 Martin Truex Jr 10. #20 Christopher Bell 11. #22 Joey Logano 12. #23 Bubba Wallace 13. #24 William Byron 14. #45 Tyler Reddick 15. #48 Alex Bowman 16. #54 Ty Gibbs I was very close to not having Bowman on the list, but I am still not trusting SHR to bring the speed. I also need to see how Legacy does. And, I still think Austin Dillon is overrated. However, I do believe there will be a wildcard winner somewhere (possibly even the 500 like Stenhouse) that will take out either Bowman, Wallace, or even Truex.
I’m expecting a lot of drivers to retire in the next couple yrs. The main ones I’m expecting r Martin Truex, Brad Kesolwski, and Kyle Busch. These guys have accomplished so much in their career and have so many accolades. Im honestly expecting Martin to retire in at least the next 2 or 3 yrs due to age. He’s pushing 45 and hell I’m surprised Harvick retired wayyyy before Martin Truex. Besides there’s a lot more young guys out there like William Byron who make the races more interesting and entertaining. I probably could’ve commented this on the other prediction video but ehh here we r
You forget Harvick retired at 47 years old compared to Truex Jr is only 43 years old until June at 44. Harvick won his last races at 46 years old. I still think Truex has a better chance with better team equipment than Harvick did his final season.
@@johnhaas2523 idk Kyle might not retire till he’s like 60😭😭😭but no in all seriousness I wouldn’t be surprised if Denny Hamlin retires before any of them. I mean all these guys started racing back when Reed Sorensen was still in contention. Plus there’s more talent coming into Nascar like Ty Gibbs
in my playoffs prediction I have full insurance : larson , byron , hamiln , bell , buescher , busch , elliot , chastain , blaney and logano . Afterwards I am almost sure : wallace , reddick , bowman keselowski .And finally on the on the bubble : ty gibs and austin cindric ( with whom do I have the feeling .The same thing is happening as with Keselowski what in one season they win a very important race keselowski : 2009 aaron's 499 , cindric : 2022 daytona 500 but then later in the next season They are a disaster : keselowski 2010, cindric 2023 and then in 2011 keselowski I was already a driver who can win races often 3 wins that season ¿ cindric 2024 season ? We'll see how it goes ) This are my 16 playoff drives in my opinion . Bold as hell putting hocevar that far up and also bold for saying KB will win the champ in RCR equipment maybe he could win it at like trackhouse but even as a KB suppoter I can admit RCR is not the team for that

I love your content, but the Bubba Wallace take was horrendous. OK, I’ll give you one win because Austin cindric won a race. But Bubba winning multiple races in a year………
People don't often have as much hate as Ty Gibbs has because they don't normally compare their bad press to the story of Jesus Christ. Great driver, shit attitude.
This is how I think the top 16 in points will fall in the playoffs and how they'll be eliminated Kyle Larson Christopher Bell Joey Logano Denny Hamlin Chase Elliott Ryan Blaney Kyle Busch William Byron Ross Chastain Chris Buescher Tyler Reddick Martin Truex Jr Alex Bowman Brad Keselowski Ty Gibbs Michael McDowelll Here's how I'd rank everyone else in order of likelihood: Ricky Stenhouse Jr Chase Briscoe Bubba Wallace Austin Dillon Daniel Suarez John Hunter Nemechek Josh Berry Corie Lajoie Carson Hocevar Eric Jones Austin Cindric Ryan Preece Daniel Hemric Noah Gragson Zane Smith Harrison Burton Justin Haley
Ty Gibbs is over hyped. Chase Elliotts rookie season should be the STANDARD for playoffs era and starting with a top tier team. Made the playoffs and finished 10th his rookie season. Ty Gibbs finished 18th and missed it.
My playoff predictions are this: 1. Christopher Bell 2. Ryan Blaney 3. Alex Bowman 4. Chris Buescher 5. Kyle Busch 6. William Byron 7. Ross Chastain 8. Austin Cindric 9. Chase Elliott 10. Ty Gibbs 11. Denny Hamlin 12. Brad Keselowski 13. Kyle Larson 14. Joey Logano 15. Tyler Reddick 16. Martin Truex Jr
I mean he did point out some good points as to why he might no make it in. Truex has been declining through the years considering this year the 2023 darlington playoff race one of truex's best tracks imo he basically never touched the top five. (also JGR just funding their new toy ty gibbs so)
@KurtH7842 Last season, it was a bit of both. There were times when the team straight-up missed the setup at certain races, but it was also quite clear that Martin Truex Jr.'s uncertainty about retirement, and later on the death of Sherry Pollex, hindered his on-track form as well.
Bubba Wallace won't make the playoffs this year. I say this because this season he's going to be under more pressure than ever before to perform because Michael Jordan is watching him more than ever. Tyler Reddick proved last season why Denny Hamlin has confidence in him and he's going to make Bubba look even worse this season.
Ngl I have a feeling Bubba could end up getting fired if he doesnt bring home the top finishes but I have a feeling He will make the playoffs off of points because he is in one of the best NASCAR rides.
@@23lacross you seriously don't know what you're talking about because you obviously don't realize that Toyota brought those sponsors, Not bubba Wallace. @@gianthand8130 true but also people dont understand that hes aging just like harvick did (even tho SHR was just a mess)
@@TJ_youtube He is 43.
I agree with you on everything but the 99 is replacing Alex b here because the 99 is growing as a driver and getting better finishes but is over shadowed by stars in the Motorsport
Suarez becomes the caution to much tbh and alex bowman is mostly just Hendricks super speedway guy, their fall guy

Corey Lajoie is a 50/50 imo he could do good or completely fall on his face.
@@TJ_youtube yea i just think with the support from trackhouse and the veteran he is that he has a good shot at making the playoffs this year
Calling it now.. Ty Gibbs wins a couple of races and makes the round of 8
My prediction is that we get 16 different winners exactly and 2 guys who we would think make playoffs usually wont because of surprise winners. I think those 2 missing will be Truex jr and Blaney. I think they go winless in first 26 races, miss playoffs then each win a race in playoffs. Surprise winners are the dega lottery basically
blaney goes back to his 59 winless streak 💀
My picks for the playoffs in 2024
* William Byron
* Christopher Bell
* Tyler Reddick
* Alex Bowman
* Brad Keselowski
* Chase Briscoe
* Joey Logano
* Denny Hamlin
* Kyle Larson
* Kyle Busch
* Martin Truex Jr
* Daniel Suarez
* Chris Buescher
* Austin Cindric
* Josh Berry
* Ryan Blaney
All make it in by wins.
@@TJ_youtubeI think Berry sneaks in a win at some point
Think the chevys will do good this year ?
Chase Elliott will win 2 or 3 races this season
hopefully
1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 45, 48, 99
seems pretty alright for predictions maybe not the 99 tho hes a 50/50
Calling it right now -
LaJoie is winning a race.
I'll do you one better, not only am I calling he's gonna win a race, I can even tell you what track it will be. He's gonna get it done at Atlanta
ty gibbs before bubba wallace is insane
Bubba Wallace has won 2 times. Ty Gibbs has yet to win.
@@gianthand8130 tbh I can say ty is more of a prospect than bubba. Also it took bubba 7 whole years to win twice. Gibbs almost won in his rookie year.
not really :/
@@TJ_youtubebuddy he was with petty GMS for three years and his first all around competitive year was last year….
@@TJ_youtube We shall see.
The rest of the field will not beat my manufacturer favorites for the championship.
dont we say every year is dennys year? or do we need to just stop saying that so hamlin doesnt fail once again
Playoff Predictions:
1. #1 Ross Chastain
2. #5 Kyle Larson
3. #6 Brad Keselowski
4. #8 Kyle Busch
5. #9 Chase Elliott
6. #11 Denny Hamlin
7. #12 Ryan Blaney

13. #24 William Byron
14. #45 Tyler Reddick
15. #48 Alex Bowman
16. #54 Ty Gibbs
I was very close to not having Bowman on the list, but I am still not trusting SHR to bring the speed. I also need to see how Legacy does. And, I still think Austin Dillon is overrated. However, I do believe there will be a wildcard winner somewhere (possibly even the 500 like Stenhouse) that will take out either Bowman, Wallace, or even Truex.
SHR just said anyone doubting is doesn't know us though.
Ngl I agree with this a lot ty gibbs will probably be a 50/50 chance
Don't sleep on the #7
I’m expecting a lot of drivers to retire in the next couple yrs.
@@nascarson2414 that’s y I said I’d give it a few yrs. They’re both up there when it comes to age
If SVG wins a race in the cup series can he make the playoffs?
I know it wouldn’t matter much as far as winning a championship but it’d be cool to see Lajoie get a spot in playoffs
Corey LaJoie has yet to win a race in the Cup Series.
@@bighand1530 I am aware.
But he has been close and has a chance at superspeedways.
One lucky win most likely is all he needs to make it in.
For me I got seven Chevys in the playoff three Toyotas and six Fords
Ty Gibbs will score his first career win
I’m skeptical
eh possible but it can happen
in my playoffs prediction I have full insurance : larson , byron , hamiln , bell , buescher , busch , elliot , chastain , blaney and logano . And to close I am going to name some drivers who depending on how it develops the season could make the playoff : austin dilon , suarez , mcdowell , jones
Nah the playoffs go completely wrong and RWR and Kaulig win every single race 💀
I think u r wrong about the 45 with billy scott i think he kan go 2 the finnal 4
Tyler Reddick making it to the final four and winning the championship would be something

I'd swap Truex for Jones
bold ngl but JGR would prolly take JHN
Obvious picks to get in: Chastain, Larson, Elliott, Byron, Blaney, Busch, Reddick, Logano, Hamlin, and Truex
Underdogs to get in: Bell, Preece, and Gragson
Long shots to get in: Ty "GRANDPAAAAA" Gibbs, Bowman, and Erik Jones
Bell as an underdog is crazy
He is so random in terms of consistency

I have the same predictions.
Ryan Preece is gonna make the playoffs off a win at Martinsville
ngl bold prediction but I support it I think atleast once SHR driver will make it in

no need to take them *that* seriously.
Lets just remind ourselves that Truex's end of year performance may or may not have been indluenced by Sherri Pollex's death
No SHR cars oh dear 😂

maybe Briscoe imo
If bowman does what he did after that injury last year in 2024, Sam Mayer might be driving the 48 in 2025

nah we dont needa be saying this stuff this is how we end up like denny and say its our year every year then not even make the C4.
Ty Gibbs is over hyped. Chase Elliotts rookie season should be the STANDARD for playoffs era and starting with a top tier team. Made the playoffs and finished 10th his rookie season. Ty Gibbs finished 18th and missed it.

Not treating MTJ as a viable Championship threat is a joke.
I mean he did point out some good points as to why he might no make it in. Truex has been declining through the years considering this year the 2023 darlington playoff race one of truex's best tracks imo he basically never touched the top five. (also JGR just funding their new toy ty gibbs so)
@@TJ_youtube has it been Truex himslef or the team? In my opinion James Small and the team has been failing MTJ the past couple years.
@@KurtH7842 It is him and the team in my opinion. We need to consider age but yes it is the team haha
He made the playoffs last year so he should be fine plus all the sponsors he brings are Bubba sponsors. They ain’t losing that money.
@@23lacross you seriously don't know what you're talking about because you obviously don't realize that Toyota brought those sponsors, Not bubba Wallace. He's only stepped up recently because Michael Jordan has been putting pressure on him which he should have been doing sooner but bubba has not brought in sponsorship and has divided NASCAR fans because of his antics whether it be flipping off the fans on national television in addition to trying to fight Kyle Larson and also shoving a NASCAR official which for that alone he should have been suspended indefinitely.
