Excellent video. Jordi is a true Master!! His rendering style reminds me of a Sexy cartoony European version of Joe Kubert. (especially the inking style). One thing Jordi Bernet has in common with another Master, Alex Toth is that they both know how to utilize simple black and white shapes without too much overcrowding. BTW i would love to see updates regarding your own comics work. You had some really interesting characters and concepts🤔
Yeah.... I was thinking the Same...when I went through the Sarvan Comic... I thought this lookes like Joe Kubert. That "how to utilize" Black and White is really Powerfull. I painted a few things these days...And I reconize again and again...less is more. The Harmony between Background and Foreground, Black and White, Color and Noise... has to be 50/50 or 60/40.... 70/30.... 80/20 ....somehow that needs to be known, felt and applied to please the eye. My Own Comic work will start back in January, right now I am wrapping up things, Doing a few commissions and than Starting Fresh. But I will show soon new Stuff. Do you Draw youself?

I am not yet so comfortable like everyone these days showing and saying anything and everything to the whole world. (i am a bit private and reserved).😓 If u want to really study simplicity, find more of Alex Toth's work. I don't know how much of his work you have seen but he is the MASTER of simplicity. Go and Google his ADVENTURES OF ZORRO series. Excellent black and white action comics. underrated!!
