Charlie is my idol. He really doesn't need Jake's help to get laid. He also doesn't need the money, beach house or Jaguar either - all those just make it even easier for him. Truth is, he can easily get any woman into bed just by being his naughty, charming, cheeky, fun-loving self.
And he's absolutely right about marriage. Look how well that worked out for Alan, who would be stupid enough to try it again a couple seasons later...

Funny clip and Jake was always slow even as a child dont know why people act like its so sudden he just became more dimmer
As the show went on they dwelled on it more and more even if there was always some truth to it.
I think they played it up way to much as he got older and older it got annoying in my opinion
