@Clemens Horn well I mean of course he didn't write the crates he is showing off. But, it still takes time to read docs and understand things enough to teach and showcase examples. I just find it impressive.
I used to be an athlete so I think of video production and reading/writing/teaching code the same way. Basically they're skills that compound over time with practice. I've been working with Rust for about 5 years now and doing videos for workshops and such for a few years as well (I've been doing daily youtube videos for about 5 months now). I also have spent most of my career either freelancing or consulting, so coming into a project and picking up context quickly is another skill I've worked on that is useful here. It would definitely be a lot harder if people weren't building so many awesome crates, etc and there's always something more to learn to get better at teaching, making videos, or just reading/writing code. but yeah, I started with making the first video and worked up from there.
How the heck do you write so much code? You pop out a video practically each time I look

How are you able to figure all of this out so quickly? Just trying to learn and use Rust, I have a lot of difficulty even coming from C++.
I've been writing Rust for 5 years now. I had my own difficulty when I started too!
ayo nice
