- Join us for an exciting conversation with two influential creatives, textile artist Kaffe Fassett and painter Erin Lee Gafill, as they discuss their recent publication Color Duets, a visual memoir chronicling Erin’s decade-long collaboration with her uncle Kaffe. Two artists a generation apart talk about their shared childhood influences growing up at Nepenthe, in Big Sur, California, the deep satisfaction they get from working with their hands, be it painting, knitting, needlepoint, or sewing, and the extraordinary role color plays in their designs, and in their lives.

One of the things I really appreciate about Kaffe Fassett is that he is unfailingly positive and encouraging. No negativity, always celebratory of the efforts of all. Thankyou!
I only discovered Kaffe recently in my quilting. I'm in love with his vibrant fabrics and the life they give to a quilt. Astounding human!
Absolutely loved this glimpse into the lives and works of creatives Kaffe Fassett and Erin Lee Gafill. Inspired !!!
I remember Kaffe Fasset from the 80s when I worked at Patricia Roberts wool and pattern shop in Covent Garden. I didn't know much about his life and inspirations so thank you for this insight, very inspiring. And thank you Erin for sharing the family photos and stories, it brought everything together and makes sense of both yours and Kaffe's creativity.
Сколько нужно жизней прожить,чтобы все это сделать своими руками🎉❤
