I have just finished my 1st floral xmas arrangement with holly and red carnations and some gypsophlia also sprayed with hairspray and sprinkled glitter and tiny stars over it

I’m really enjoying your tutorial videos Sharon, but I notice you still use oasis floral foam, despite more eco friendly products available now. I’ve invested in some agra wool for my Christmas arrangements and wonder if there is any advice you have for using this material. Many thanks

There are several videos using Agrawool, if you do a search you'll find them. It's a very difficult product to work with and even though it's compostable it's not very sustainable sourced. It worth reading up on how it's produced. Most of the flowers we are buying have been flown from half way round the world, certainly aren't environmentally friendly, so I feel that we should be looking at the whole picture not just the end product. I'm hoping that the bigger providers of foam will come up with a much better product too. I also question many of the so called Eco friendly products that certainly aren't as eco friendly as they promote. It's a real hot topic !
