Historically there are 2 major issues with Range Rovers, engine failure from the timing chain ( which is why so many get sold between 50 and 100k miles ) and the air ride going out but if you get the warranty that covers those then you’ll be good. I’ve had a lot of SUVs and the Range Rovers are my favorite.

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is around £1000 a month iirc, went in one and it sounded so good, quick, comfortable and plenty of space. Would be unique to the channel as well. Range Rovers can be a bit unreliable, even the staff joke about them being unreliable haha 😂

My parents had a 2006 Range Rover (full-size) with the supercharged V8 and had zero issues other than the transmission failing after 200,000 miles. We now have a 2021 SVR carbon edition and it’s been great. Take care of it and it should be great
In 2012 I bought a Range Rover Evoque 2 door. I still own it and never had any problems with it. I had a friend who also bought a 2013 evoque 4 door and he had to replace his transmission. So I dont know how reliable Land Rovers are.

Hi, I think a Mercedes Benz GLB is a great family car. My family and I drove it from Vancouver to LA and back, it had no problems. It is so really fast and comfortable car. It is also in a great price too

The prices are high and they make no power. More of a pacific Northwest/Midwest vehicle. A 200 series landcruiser, like a 2018 would be around 70k but wouldn't need to worry about motor blowing up or anything crazy happening and you get the Lexus comfort, interior, ride/drive quality with the power.

We got my wife a new 2020 Range Rover HSE L P525. We absolutely love it, I just can’t stand how much service costs. All new brakes all the way around and a basic service was $8,000. I got them down to $6,000 cus I did the math and got part costs before having them do it. They were charging me for 14 hrs of labor to do brakes which takes 2hrs. Also had a few minor failures on parts but they covered them completely due to warranty. But it is an awesome vehicle. I personally drive a Ram 2500 Cummins and will always. I have for 15 years now. Also I’ve had multiple bmw M3s and currently have an F82 M4 and have always had great experiences with bmws so maybe think about an X5 M? We had an older one with the Dinan Package and it was one of the best vehicles we’ve ever owned

I would highly recommend staying away from the Range Rover, few of my friends have had bad experiences. A few awesome suggestions are Audi SQ5, Bmw X5M, New Jeep Grand Cherokee, or an older Cherokee SRT is beast of an SUV.
