As a fellow Dutchman.. I'm obviously going to be a Herlings guy, but what Febvre is showing here needs to be mentioned for sure.. to be able to stick with Jeffrey like that on his home soil.. wow.. unreal
First race 24 s gap and second race Jeffrey charged through the field and crash still won. Although Romain is very fast on any type of soil.
@@rafik835 yeah over the entire race for sure the difference shows.. but I think the speed is there, he just can't maintain it like Jeffrey can. I just think it's so cool to see someone actually have the heart to try and run that pace
Yeah, for sure. Props to Febvre... not taking anything away from him. Anyone who can hang with Herlings for part of, or most of a race has great skill.

@@jedielder7970 one thing I admire Herlings the most is he's warrior character. Charging through world class riders like mad. He's the only guy to fail start and win the race.

Herlings my idol..
Herlings is a stud and needs to come and race the AMA national series and race some real tracks. This track is c class at best. We could use a rider of his caliber to fill the gaps of all the injured guys we have this year...

His either pulling in he clutch to make sure it he doesnt stool
Or, hes using it to keep the rear suspension unwound
I know Stephan Everts used to use a similar technique in the sand where he coasted using the clutch to minimmise engine braking
I noitced when I was riding last week on my 350 sxf that I was pulling in the cluth with two fingers so I could let it roll better in the corner, rather than being off or on the gas
As Ive only ridden a 4 stoke about 10 times, Im used to how the 2 strokes freewheel a lot more
No doubt JH is the greatest motocross rider of all time. It would have been great to have a match up of Carmichael and Herlings in their prime.

Its very hard to hear the Shift anyway, most of the time they Shift while they are in the Air. You dont need Clutch to shift, only a little little Bit

Simply not true. Also wouldn’t matter if his bike was 20kg heavier he carries faster corner speed and is simply faster… the Yamaha’s have the strongest motors just look at the starts
