Amazing, hope you have an brilliant time 🤩 The lineup has given us a decision about 2025, and we might wait and go again in 2026. It was such a good festival though and we will 100% go back. You will have the best time!!!
I was at the festival as well. Overall a great experience. Some of the bands I saw I wish their sets would have been a bit longer but I understand with it being one day trying to fit everyone in.
Agree on it being both a great experience and a shame about the set times. Everything ran super well from the bands we saw, and hoping for a good line up next year so we can do it all again 👍
It is amazing how close your hotel was to the festival! It was great to see your time at Sick New World and I loved hearing the rundown of how it all works and what to expect! So glad you had an amazing time!
It was ‘vegas close’ 😂 Can clearly see it, still takes ages to walk to! Thank you for watching and for sticking around for the end bit, we really did have an amazing time 🤩
What a lineup! Would you say it was as busy as Download 2023 with the 4 days music? Definitely keeping my eyes out for next years lineup- we also got married in Vegas but 2 years ago. Love the vlogs thank you!
Nowhere near as busy! It was really easy to get space, and you could choose to push forward a bit if you wanted to get closer 😀 Really hoping next year is close with the line up, but this one was so good that we had to go 🤣 Congrats on Vegas, where did you do it? Next weeks vlog will be more touristy in Vegas and we go back to where we got married 😍 And thank you, so glad you enjoyed the vlog…it’s a bit of a different series for us 😀
@@EllieandMitchell ah that’s so good to know! We’ll definitely be in next year if it’s a good line up. Download prices for RIP this year are crazy and it’s less days of music. We were married at Graceland Chapel- we didn’t plan it just sat having a drink one afternoon and hubby said “shall we just get married” after 20 years together I’d kind of given up hope 🤣 wishing an hour and half of deciding we were married, it was amazing! Looking forward to the next vlog!
Then I would expect our server to at least meet the minimum expectations of service. I don’t expect to have to keep getting up during my meal to find our server to bring drinks etc. Very happy to tip, we travel to the US a lot, but the responsibility falls on the server first.
All I am saying is throw just a few bucks down to cover that tax. This is the reason we cannot find good workers in the industry any longer. I work in Chicago. When Europeans come into our establishment and receive the best service ever 9 out of 10 times, they do not tip. I realize tipping in Europe is not like it is in the USA but people know better when they travel. I bet they targeted you as a non-tipper because of the accents and left it at that.
Interesting. Happy to have the debate, and it is genuinely news to learn about the servers having to pay tax on my bill… BUT, to suggest that we got bad service because of our accents, and so they chose to give us poor service? That’s both ridiculous, and just proves that we were right to not tip? You say shame on us for not tipping, then assume the service was purposely bad because of where we come from? Why would anyone tip for bad service, let alone purposefully bad service? We tip for service, tip well for good service, but bad service is bad service, and should be rewarded as such.
@@EllieandMitchell What made it bad service? She did not bring you a refill? She greeted you, took your order, delivered what you needed, correct? so she messed up the last 25% of the job. The accent has to do with you being European. We know they only tip a small portion of the time. I still say Shame.
Great info. I am going next year for the first time. Can’t wait

@@EllieandMitchell 🤣🤣 Vegas close is such a thing! This looked like such an awesome trip and I am so glad we've been able to see it!
Loved the vlog guys ❤️
Thank you ♥️ Very kind of you to watch something different from us 😍
Sounds like Download and other UK festivals could learn a lot from how this was run.
They really could! Super impressed with it only being the second one. 100% will go back 😀
sick line up! might be going next year!
You won’t regret going! It was so good 😍

We are only doing Download on Sunday this year because the line just didn’t do it for us!
What a great wedding story 😍 Ours was very planned 😂
This looks like it was so much fun!! Also I'm that weird person who doesn't like pancakes 😂 BUT I do love french toast!
Haha, I knew there would be someone 😂 That french toast was delicious 🤤 And it really was a lot of fun, we had such a good day 😍
Were you in the VIP area or were you GA?
GA for this trip. We would do VIP next time though.
You should always tip something. Servers in the US have to pay taxes on your total bill. Shame Shame.
