AVE Madrid - Extremadura. Viaduct over Tajo river (Spain)

We present you a new emblematic project for Metalesa, in the Viaduct over the Tagus River of the Madrid-Extremadura AVE section.
Works of this caliber require in-depth studies in order to optimally cope with the installation of all the necessary road safety infrastructures. In this case, the project consisted of:
▶ Bird collision screen to prevent the impact with the train of the large flocks that usually fly over the nearby Tagus river marsh.
▶ ADIF Anti-Vandal Railings and Fences, specifically manufactured to be installed in ADIF infrastructures.
▶ META16 (H3 / WR) parapet, an effective vehicle restraint system.
