i counted , every 30 seconds there is a road crossing and a signal , is it good planning or bad planning of Melbourne city ? . The trams and their electric wireing is pretty intricate .
Well all of the streets and suburbs you saw are over 100 years, so they were built before the car. If you are thinking purely in a car centric manner, then its awful but when if you want walkable then it works. I do think there are sometimes too many traffic lights but road crossings are normal for areas that old. Would you like to see a video of us driving through a new area? Something with a more modern planning style?
