why turn in a circle like that on the cross court hit?

On a cross court hit, the ball would go inside the block, a defensive player would pass the ball to the setter. The setter would be where she would be facing after she circles around. She has to keep her eye on the ball the whole time and that is the best way. The 2nd ball will be played by the setter if it is in system.

@@stevenstutts7494 im confused, doesn't the fact that she's turning around ensure that she has to take her eye off the ball and then have to pick it back up again?

@@scottpetersen8965 No she turns around so that she can follow and track the ball. She knows where setter is so she just needs to focus on the ball so that she can be ready to fit if needed.
