I let you know I guess year before last a big thanks to you for your Xmas snow globe tutorial. I very much needed an inspiration and some confidence and because of your post I got both and my cards were a big success. A great reminder that what we think is a small thing can be a big and lovely gift to someone else 😊
These are lovely Sharon. Thank you for taking the time to share these, especially when you're not 100%. You make confinement with this horrible pandemic much more tolerable and I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos.
Thank you for this Sharon. I’ve been in a little slump but you have encouraged me to just paint some ornaments today. It will help me to paint again! Thank you. I also really miss you making watercolor videos for UA-cam. I haven’t seen any for awhile and I sure miss it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. ~
I hope your back heals quickly.. Nothing worse than back pain.. I had a hard time keeping my edges clean on this. So I used contact paper to mask my circles. Worked great.
I’m a new subscriber. I just found your channel and I love it. You are so entertaining and helpful. I have painted with acrylic for years but recently decided to begin teaching myself watercolor which at first seems to be a much more difficult medium. I had no clue what I was doing but I have worked through until I feel like I’m getting somewhere. I absolutely love your art studio! Just so glad I found you.
Thank you so much and welcome! I have a lot of beginner videos available and also I have a video I believe is titled “all about watercolor” there are several videos. Just search and put my name after it and they will come up
Something I have started doing, Sharon, is writing "opening" on the appropriate side when I tape down my card. I haven't made an upside down card since! :D
Yes I don’t know if you caught it but my next card said fold. I try to put a mark on the fold side if I’m not going to paint right away. But I got up and walked away from that for a couple days and didn’t do it. Oops.
Two very nice cards there, Sharon. You've created quite a few attractive Christmas cards over the last few weeks - it's a shame you can't have them printed in, say, packs of six different designs and offer them for sale. Pepe says he'd definitely buy a pack .... especially if there was one with a tree on it; he says dogs like trees (he said that last bit with one of his naughty glints in his eye LOL). Thanks for the video - you must be mad crazy at the moment with house decorating etc and it's much appreciated that you take time out to do these videos for us all to enjoy. All the best, Brian.
Thanks Brian. Pat thinks I’m mad crazy! 😜🤣 I plan to do exactly what you are talking about, providing boxes of cards. The only thing is it can get quite expensive so I need to find a printer who is reasonable enough for me.
You’re absolutely right. They are a lot of work though if you have a lot to send out. I got in the habit of making one and then have prints made because most people throw them away. One year I made little Christmas paintings and matted them. I put them in the little matting bags and I had wrote my Christmas message on the back. They all loved them and framed them. But I only did it for my siblings and their families and my kids.
I love the sketchy black marks........it makes any wobbly, crooked lines in the drawing look intentional, so it forgives us who do not have a steady hand!
Hi Sharon! Sorry you’re injured! I did your snow globe with trees and moon and LOVE how it turned out. I’ve sent you a question about usage rights via Messenger to you journaling “identity”. Thanks for your generosity with these tutorials!
Thanks. I guess I will have to add this in every description because I keep telling people and I’ve done multiple videos on it. Go look at my Robax palette videos.
Wink of Stella by zig zag is a very popular one. Here’s a link I found on Amazon. Zig Zag makes other glitter brush pens also mi have them all. I used to do scrapbooking many years ago.. Now I only use them at Christmas! smile.amazon.com/Stella-Brush-Individual-Paper-Glitter/dp/B00B7LQ8DE/ref=sr_1_18?crid=2HV7L4G25M7JZ&dchild=1&keywords=glitter+brush+pens&qid=1607046318&s=arts-crafts&sprefix=Glitter+brush+pen%2Caps%2C186&sr=1-18
Go over to Amazon and put in “Wink of Stella” I like the clear. I have them all but I like that one the best. The one I used was a different brand but I don’t know what it is. I have the wink of stellas too and they are good.

Absolutely. I'm so glad it was a success
Both beautiful! ❤
Again, you make it look so simple. Soo looking forward to trying this one too!
In time they will be simple for you. You’ll be surprised one day and think, wow, I used to think this was a challenge. 😉
@@SharonCullenArt Lol, I certainly hope so!
Thank you for sharing. I love tree ornaments and this one is beautiful.
Thanks. I almost left it off the video. Glad I didn’t edit it out.
Yes it's very pretty 🦋
Yes what is very pretty?

Thanks Cindy unfortunately it is a progressive disease. It won’t get better. The pain gets better and worse but that’s about it. But it’s all good.

So lovely 🌸🌈🌸🌈
Blue painters tape works good for holding paper down.
So pretty . Love the colors 😍
Thanks Anna

Thank you Naomi.
Very festive! Cards are so expensive to buy and painting your own is so much more personal. ❄☃️😀
The people who receive one of these cards are so lucky to have a handmade one of a kind card.

Thank you very mutch, this are Wonderful cards i love it, i Wish you a nice advent time 💓
Thank you and a happy Advent to you also Renate.

Exactly. But I like the look anyway. When I do pen sketching I try to incorporate that.
Will try these designs. Thank you. Question,,,what do the scribbles do or represent. Depth? Thank you
Nope just something different and fun. I suppose if anything they’d represent movement.

Okay I will check it out.
Enjoy watching your video. What kind of container do you have your DS paints in? Thanks for sharing your ideas with the ornaments...real cute!
Thanks. I guess I will have to add this in every description because I keep telling people and I’ve done multiple videos on it. Go look at my Robax palette videos.
Have you got any more info on the sparkly water brush, maybe the brand name? I see something by Spectrum Noir, but am not sure.

What type of salt do you use?
Table salt is fine. I think mine right now is just regular iodized salt but it may be pink Himalayan. I also have some fringing salt that is larger.
Gosh these are just gorgeous, you should sell your stuff on Etsy, I'd buy it!
I’m planning on starting my own website. I don’t want to share commission with Etsy.
I never heard of a glittter pen. Wish I had one this week while making cards. Just google... glitter pen??
